Quick, sell it while it's on record low mileage. Sounds like the LCD has died, if you put a new cluster in the mileage will be different, so it's up to you.

Brought it home, finally. After two months of pain, trouble, anguish and scary lifts in corsas, I've finally got a working, shiny, fixed, clean Clio. Couldn't believe it when I drove it home, it was like buying it all over again.

A satnav won't have radar, which is what I think you're after if you want to detect speed guns. Personally I use Sygic on my phone, which is pretty damn good, and hasn't missed any fixed camera locations yet.
