Well I've heard of 3 people now who I trust have issues with him, all decent car enthusiasts, parts removed from their cars, poor workmanship, parts paid for and not delivered which was a nightmare to get the money from him, they had to go down in person to sort it out, the clowns a cowboy plain...
Evening All,
It has come to my attention that a certain individual under the name of BLOKE / CARL WADESON who is very active on here is someone who shouldn't be trusted having ruined a guys R26 over on the Facebook page meganespoet.net resulting in his workshop being forced open to recover the...
Get a engine and get someone else to fit it like awmotorworks/select motorsport, saves getting pissed off doing it [emoji23]

You would think it should prime on first click anyway so it's all good to go, then fire the pump up on second turn of the key ike every other car I've had, French science/s**t ?
Haha I bet it does, coolant, just with the intercooler etc blocking the path for air wasn't sure if this would be an issue on track

not good anyone losing their job, i thought they were looking to grow going by all the new stuff on their website, im sure he wont stick for a job though
I fitted a one way valve like above in the pipe, it's still in the engine bay drivers side but hidden out the way and secure, tank still vents but is done so in a safe manner,
I'm sure he'll sort it, might get it done when the winter months come in and he's not so busy , he will want it done correctly so it's reliable, here's hoping it all comes good soon
The plus side is they only need a small rad up front, so you get maximum cooling to the radiator, a lot of people getting issues with heat is purely down to the air physically can't get to the rad due to the intercooler taking up too much room, this is common on smaller cars such as clio, 106...
The hard works been done, whip it out and send it away for rebuild, then that'll be it sorted for many years to come, maybe ha

People say this is due to the fpr loosing pressure over time, but im not convinced, as this should not cause the pump not to come on and prime the system, which is the problem, I've tried two pumps/fpr's and mine is still the same as you describe, terrible when cold and sometimes requires second...
Temps might be due to all the air coming through the lower mesh in the bumper going into the intercooler, when this was initially designed to cool the radiator, i guess very limited amount of air, and likely warm air at that is actually getting to the radiator.
I'd fit a larger radiator...
Worth a try with the relays, see some people have had issues with the fuel pump on arming once you turn the ignition on and off twice, you may have the same problem, nightmare geting to the bottom of stupid issues like this
This is all normal, i have replaced every brake part and its just like above, its a very poor design, was poor in the 80's on the 5/11 turbos but they continued to use the same set up
