I think the Cup suspension pack doesnt achaully lower the car just adjuats some angle which lowers the car the suspension itself has the same ride heigh.
Id bottom out the suspension a few time and then recheck it.
The tolerance are a difference of 5mm I think so its still within spec
The fuse is one running the relay for the starting of the engine.
Migh be a faults relay have a look round for any wiring which may be touching. Ill have a look what coloured wires may be the problem ones and post again later if its any use.
Demon Tweeks do a full lowering kit for ~£300 I think and members get a discount there which is good. Most people want to go lower than whatever they have so Id recomend saving for the coilover and then buy them.
All the normal compampanies are good ie Koni etc. The Europen ones have TUC...
The 16V 1.2 engine has its fair share of problems you may be ok with a new loading of the ECU maps etc.
If not take it to another dealership (youll find a good one after a while) and they should be able to fix it so long as the problem is obvious. The 16V Clio engines do have a habbit or being...
The 182 dont have it.
I prefere the older Clio dash like mine anyway.
The 182 dash is electric just like all the Mk2 2 dashes are just not the same look.
There is no best unfortunatly you have to decide how much noise land what sort of look you want.
_KDF has a sound clip of the new exhaust on his car which seems quite popular. Its in the media page I think.
Seems abit steep I take it its TUC approved which affects the cost. Is that all fitted? I know supercharger is expensive and all just interested as my Germans is terriable. Any chance of UK kits or dealership?
Any plans to increase the pressure after all theres some turbo kits out there with...
You need to start hitting some bigger things.
I hit a sparrow this week some time, now that makes a mess on the radiator grill.
I should have taken some pics realy but no camera
The K-tec ones are ~£575 but I think members get s 10% discount there on the website.
Dampers slow down the occilations ie if you push down on your cars front the spring compresses and when you let go it bounches back up. If you didnt have dampers or they broke then the car would continue to...
There been a few threads on this topic
Costs about £6k all in but nothing for certain but it will be that give or take £400
You can buy the kit from the company in mexico which K-Tec are using for £3k to 3.5k depending on taxes shipping etc.
Its a big job to do ie lowered comp pistons etc...
Each to there own about telling them but Ill just say that look at conner on this forum if your thinking about doing this they will look at your ecu if they think youve chipped it and invalidate your insurance.
And the Revo or any other company software maybe switchable etc but it can be and...
Just make sure she has enough money to pay for the damages no use trying to get money out of somoen who doesnt earn much anyway.
After all if you get a court order for her to pay and get the baylifs round they might find she has £20 of posesions thats not even going to pay for the baylifs.
I hate this type of peron never mind somone who drives round in a rusting 1.2 nova with their baseball hat on backwards etc uninsured drivers are the real trouble.
Will she care about a criminal record though? She probaly claiming dole and doing some work on the side the cars not registered to...
Lowering 60mm is quite a lot for the original dampers your best handling gains will be with dampers as well. There hasnt been anyone as far as I know whos dampers have failed on 60mm drop but most havnt kept them on for more than a year so.
Best lowering is with coilover from what I heard the...
Depends if you intake getting cold air in the first place.
There isnt going to be a huge advantage unless the engine is talking full advantage of the cold air. But you can always imagine that it is.
They look quiet good if there polished though.
Id say get it more for looks than power as...
Depends where you live.
Id got mine just for no other reason than it is safer with one.
You migh save a few quid but its not enough to pay for the alarm.
Wait. Youll want another mod next month when you cannot aford it and have to borrow more money from your mate.
Wont be long before he gets fed up lending you money every month.
Problem is they probably dont care about bans or increaded premiums cos there never going to pay insurance or learn to drive legally are they.
Soory to here about it though.
Tell them. From now on insuracne companies will check any suspect ecu especially ones owned by young drivers, turbo owners or modified car owners.
It will take an insurance guy a few seconds with a laptop to tell its been chiped and youll end up in a real problem all for the matter for a few £...
Arr you know what ur on about then
If they do this it wont be difficult getting an engineer to write a report up it will just have to say the engine has been installed safly etc.
If they do Im availiable to sign certificates for £100 a time or £50 for Cliosport members:D
99% sure.
They dont charge for engine mods so long as they know about them and no change in CC (NOS is a question though) if you understand about turboing cars youll know that turboes dont mean change in engine cc even if you lower compression ratio so your ok.
Sometime you have to pay a...
Well it will depends me and my mate at work are insured with them as there are the cheapest Tesco wanted £10 more at £890 for me but eveyone else wanted £950+ to insure me.
Some people will find them to be uncompetitive but in general they are very good and as they dont charge for mods which...
