Sell them and youll get the same price probably for the car and sell the mods for a few hundred.
Any change Jeremy of aranging a track day for the Clio drivers who dont own a 172/V6 etc I fancy giving my car some round a track but since overtaking a fork life needs a good long stright I dont think Id make many 172 drivers happy holding them up.

Why not drop a 1.6 16 V in there better all round for future tunning plus as long as you use a Mk 2 2 then the multiplex wirng problem will (almost) disapear.
1.6 16V = 110hp stock 120 with filter + exhaust
Even the 1.4 has 110hp with a slight bit of work 120 should be possible.

Thje 172 engine is diffficult to tune as its quite highly tuned standard not many N/A engine out there make 84hp/liter. Turbo engoine have the easy potential or a remap with higher boost but there nothing like that for N/A engines you need manifold makeing which costs.

Best with uprated springs and dampers or coilover.
If they did fit it wouldnt be that big a job to do to change the springs and shocks over.

Normal K-tec coilover go down upto 80mm. Freds have custom springs so go down 100 at the back and upto 110 at the front.
You need to let the springs settle though 35mm may not look much but leave they a month to settle and the drop will look more mine equivavlent to some people at 30mm down...
Id try the dci even the little 65hp one is only slight slower than a 1.2 and as its a diesel it has good power low down so will feel quiker to somoene who doesnt rag it.
There are loads of good deals for the dynamics Im sure if your buying cash youll get one ~£7.5 with aircon or somehting else...

If your sticking to normal pistons and head gasget the max Id push it to is 0.4 bar so ~140hp. With a bigger head gasget hence lower...

The problem is the Clio is FWD so wheels spins with 260hp where as an AWD or RWD car wont as much. 5 second to 60 in FWD is quite an achiement dont think the Clio would do that whatever turbo kit 7.2 seconds is what the foreign manurfacturer get from there 172 turbo...
Should be no trouble installing it to a 182/172 or Cup. Same engines realy.
Top sped wont be increased much as the box is the week link as you can top out in top gear normally so youll get there faster but same top speed.
