The less you spend on a car the less its likly to loose. Id say try them both and go with the one you like but if there no particular car you drift towards then buy the older 172 than a 182 youll save more money.

When changing the bulbs try taping the wires together tightly helps.

Nope soory you need one part for one side the other for the other side. Doing a 172 look alike isnt cheap. Think it costs £2k without fitment or painting. And thats with friends at Renault helping out. What I mean is part 1 is for the drivers side and part 2 for the passengers side.
