Nope the white strips are an option for the 182 just like cup suspension, spolier+ splitter but the strips are only availiable on the blue ones as far as I know
Id like to track mine or least absolutly get it past its limit in some sort of safe enviroment with lots of safe run offs.
My insuracne allows none timed racing ie airfield days for free anyway and since its not got 166hp tyres and brakes should be fine.
Nope dont work for them (be good if I did though).
I get the info from the Renault dialogue CDs Im genuinly interested in Clios and so have read up on them.
The diagloues BTW are the software Renault use when you go in to order parts fix things and check technical notes on cars. Theres info...
The mk2 2 have electric power stearing so you can use that no problem.
The dials though on the Mk2 2 are electric so you may have trouble.
You could fiddle the wires though.
Best of dropping a 1.6 in there from a Mk2 2 Clio will be about the same as a turbo 1.2 power and more reliable and...
It will void the warently on any assocaited componet ie dampers etc.
But they have to prove the mod is responsible (under law) so you should be fine. 172s have been droped more than that without problems.
I think its just clips into the loom at the injecors very easy to fit and remove.
But dont use that as an excuse not to tell the insuracne company.
Be carful removing the engine cover though as I broke the head of my dipstick removing it and putting it back on without looking. (Itrs about...
Pm me the details of your oval plate if you want the Renault parts code and prices.
Migh be able to find a procedure of how to do it yourself if I have the oval plate details
Ill need your email address to send you a pdf fitment file though.
Im suprised you got a straight answer from them.
But they hav to legally aggre to warentyl work unless the mods can be linked to the failure ie if it weret modified it would be ok.
You should be able to get one on a Renault leasing type deal ie yoi have to buy it or give it back at the end for about £220 a month (assuming £13k price over 3 yrs)
To buy it your looking at about £360 a month (assuming same price as above)
Try getting a personal loan though and buy an...
The law is that they have to prove the mod is responsible for the failure etc to invalidate the warently on parts.
The warently is old invalid on the parts or associated components ie failed failed or faulty electrics cannot be blaimed on lowed suspension etc.
Youll have trouble in a triangular lights Clio the wiring isnt easy as its multiplex.
There would be more costs involved but it would be possible. (You might need to drop some Mk2 1 stuff in to help
A 1.8 16V would have about the same hp as a GTT and can be done for £1400 in a Clio Mk2 1...
You can have it seviced any time you want ealy ie after 10 miles you ca have the 12k service done no problems at all.
There is a 1000miles allowance to go over ie you can have it serviced at 13k with no impact on the warently.
However if you go over the limit then they limit there warently...
Black makes it look like youve been driving thought a field after a few miles
But does look good when you have cleaned and polished it which makes you feel good about putting the effort in. A car which never looks dirty doesnt make you feel as good after washing it so you wash it less.
Pi
But springs alone arnt that good you need shocks as well
Better geting a 30mm full kit than 60 springs if you can afford it.
Better still get coilovers
