The 172 and 182 engine are almost the same it wouldnt be much different installing the turbo on a 172 or a 182. 250 is only realy economically possible with T/Bs (£3.5k) turbo (£6k) or supercharger (£5k)

The exchange rate is about .66 ~.7 So 7300 Euros is just over £5k at the monent. ANother grand and you can have another 20hp from a turbo 172.

Sounds like one of the relays is messing up and disconnecting power from the car when the ignition is off. The noise your on about is the relays
