just had a thought... if i was to leave this plugged in all the time, will it use the battery when the engines off? i might just be being stupid :oops:

Decided to finally get an origin b2, but just a few questions.
1) has the new version got a seperate laser detector which can be mounted seperate from the main unit? i dont want the device mounted on the top of the dash.
2) Where have people put the detector. My windscreen has a small...
which ones better then folks? i dont mind all the cables etc cos theyll be hiden anyway, and id rather have the laser detector seperate from the unit.
anyone know where i can read up on both of these?

nope, dash has to come off to get access to the connector behind the clock. Do any of your displays still work where the clock is with the new head units?
