Sorry they're not the best pics in the world, both of our "Camera Boff's" pussied out (ill/skint) poor excuses if you ask me! :rasp:
I only got a few shots before my battery died, I thought it had lasted ages since I last charged it :o
Anyways, was a good meet, good to see everyone and a good...
There's a link to the exact paint I used earlier in the thread, just halfords, VHT matt black paint. I'll give the dyson a go later, lol!
Just used a 1" brush mate, not very difficult at all, as for the letters, I painted the whole thing, then rubbed over it with some fine sand paper on a...
Cheers for advise on the carpet, I'll give it a go, I thought it was pretty much ruined, so I'm not sure how far I'll get TBH. LOL!
Yeah I just painted it in situ mate, no problems doing it like that, less hassle and takes so little time.
Removed nothing other than the engine cover mate, just...
Indeed they are the ph2 ones mate.
I quite like the hate for the green lip on the wheels tbh, in some way I'm glad people don't like some things in general, as its how I want it to be, not a neutral, please all, car.
4??? Bit optimistic isn't it? Quarter/Half Past 3??? By the time we've got onto the a20 etc and found this place again I'm sure we'll need the extra time.
May loose the engine cover alltogether eventually, but not sure atm, I still have some left to make any changes I fancy, Was considering a luminos green engine cover, lol!
There are many many plans, silvervisions are top of the list I suppose, as they're cheap and cheerful, but I also have:
Standard steering wheel to get trimmed, or I want a leather aftermarket one.
Calipers will be going green next w.e
Dash will probably be flocked at some point, or a full...
Cheers all :)
It was just halfords matt black VHT paint Danielson, can try find if you need it?
Little tin, £4 or something, then used halfords own sanding sponge type thing and it polished the letters up a treat, properly happy :)
Overall cost, less than a tenner, time taken 1.5 hours, done.
Well I was awoken early this morning, which is normally a no go for me on the weekends, so I decided to do something useful(ish) with my time, popped to halfords, bought a sandpaper sponge, a 1" paint brush and a tin of matt black paint....
Engine tidy up time....
As it was...
(Notice the...
One request, when you put this engine in, please, please, PLEASE put some tyre shine on and clean the wheels THOROUGHLY, I love your car to bits, but the wheels always let it down in pics for me :(
I think its just because the car is black, and very shiney, makes the wheels look worse.
Love...
Hey mate I had the exact same trouble on my old clio, but never fixed it I'm afraid. I think it has something to do with the cable that runs from that handle to the runner part of the seat, If you take the fabric off the seat you may be able to find the problem?
Can you still move it back and...
God, I really wish I'd got some tyre shine now, don't even own any! lol!
I'll give it a crack next week :)
Difficult? Easiest job in the world tbh.
I've had a Clio before and did a massive audio upgrade on that, they're really easy cars to work with in the audio sense.
As for speakers I...
