Cheers, tbh I was seriously suprised that I did as well as I did against the LCR, and at the other end when we stopped he was a bit "wtf" lol!
Click me! ;)
Or me!
I do not condone what you intend to do down there. (and don't hang about for hours ;))
Got it in one sir, know it well...
TBH so did I, it seems I'm quite good at starting, that may help, but my friend's an equal or better driver than I am, it just seemed that at the top end of every gear I pulled a further and further, against another 172 though on a very short stint, mine did seem to have the legs, so maybe...
I've owned the Ph1 172 for almost two months now and I've been getting used to the extra power/grip etc compared to my 1.2 (which I had for four years).
After going to Cumbria last weekend, where the clio got a vigorous test in "the twisties" and with general B road driving, last night me and...
Welcome to the club mate, if you do get a RS then I'd advise paying up for full membership, it allows you access to a whole host of guides and not to mention you get a very funky little pack :)
Swap ya Daz? ;)
Aluco, the new bus looks mint I must say (get some coilies for sure), but Tom's ph1 looks positively brilliant!!!
Lovely pair of cars though.
Looks bloody lovely! Great mileage example too, lucky sod.
I want to say "Coilovers, done."
But if it were mind, I'd be doing
Cup spoiler
Coilovers
Silver o.z f1's
Done.
Colour looks superb, your front lights looks so new it makes me want to break down and cry :(
I think the lip isn't great on the wheels, but it does make it stand out.
13 quid or something, they've got one in and put it aside, don't wanna go get it and it be the wrong one mind... hmmmm.
Oh, and another question, is that definately drivers side?!? Can't see if it mentions that on your SS.
On what price Jord? The £36 or the one on your screen shot????
Cheers for the help btw, so the outer one ja?? Does it come with grease etc?
EDIT:
One last thing, is that definately the right part number for the ph1 172? Don't want to phone up all richeous and then be wrong... lol!
Looking on euro car parts, there are two differnet CV boot kits? One for inner, and one for outer? Which do I want? AHHH!
Reason I need one is that I have grease all over my drivers side wheel?
For a ph1 172, drivers side cv boot part number please?
Tried ringing Renault, reg doesn't come up, tried several other reg's from pics off here (:o), doesn't come up....
So as I'm at work and can't get the chasis number, I could do with ordering this part before the end of the day.
Many...
Bugger, not what I wanted to hear (the "don't drive it" bit and the "b**ch of a job" bit)
I have to do 30 miles in it tmrw before I can do anything and I did 150 in it this weekend and god knows when it went :(
Cheers all, will try get it sorted asap :)
Looks good mate, you didn't go through the dartford tolls did you by any chance today? I saw a std silver ph1 but couldnt catch up due to traffic.
I really like the 172 badge actually, very funky.
So what actually is it then that leaking? i.e what is the grease?
If you did it yesterday mate, any chance you've got the part number etc? As my Renault are useless without one, or what can I ask them for and they'll definately know what I'm talking about?
Oh hai Daniel, cheers for the advice...
When'd you get those Steve? Awesome!
Why does no one ever keep that tidy? ;)
1. Megzy
2. Timmyd
3. Brownyboy
4. Clio-Ell (aslong as the car is fixed :()
5. Robbos (whats wrong with it Ell? And Mike, get your ass along!)
6. Smitchell1 - I have turini's now so I guess I should show 'em off.
He's about 10 seconds away from you Mike, I tried to call you t'other day but no joy?
Rob, Danny, I've just got mine and you're deserting me, your pair of manjina's. See you both soon no doubt. Maybe one last pic session before they go?
Cleaned the car tonight after Steve@Rsport lovingly sorted a few problems and whilst bent over (oh 'er) I noticed quite a lot of thick grease on the drivers front wheel???
From memory of looking over old threads, has the "CV something" split or something?
Basically, when I take the wheel off...
I haven't seen your for sale threads/adverts, but great images of the car really will help sell it, if it looks amazing in the advert more people are likely to come have a look.
