Remember that as far as faults go, if you get a fault within six months of taking delivery, in the eyes of the law, that fault is deemed to have existed at the time of sale. The burden is on the supplying dealer/company to prove that the fault did not exist when it was sold. Tell em to change...

I think its to do with the fact that there is so little friction with fully synthetic, that it stops the engine "bedding in" properly. Was quoted £848 for 4 Dunlops (225x40x18) by National Tyres...that was before I discovered the joys of internet tyre shopping. I think Im gonna stick with Michelen Exaltos when the Cup finally gets here...was the best price seen for these anyone?

1500 kgs and tyres @ >£200 per corner for decent rubber! The same as my current Mondeo except the Ford barge doesnt go half as well. Hence my continued wait for a Cup...£70 per corner does it for me!

From what Ive read, the Exaltos are now standard fit on 172/Cups. Im struggling to get my head round Renault putting a more expensive, better tyre on as standard, I mean, that would cost them money surely?

Contis come out quite well? Shouldnt that be they come out quite bad? Am I reading it right? 1 is good, 6 is bad? That makes the Contis 2nd worst doesnt it?
