Went to take it to the garage this morning, wheels jammed in place. Had to get it flatbedded (took 5 hours for them to turn up!) to the garage, whereupon it was discovered that 3 linings had fallen off, and one of the cylinders was shot. Thanks for the help folks ;)

No worries, I had exactly the same when I first wired them up. Also, have you put a fuse in? Check it hasn't blown if you have. The headlights should stay on with the full beam.
