How. The. f**k.
Noticed it the first time I ever filled my car up. Used it ever since. I did worry about the keys hitting the paintwork, but even with my massive bundle it still hangs free (snigger).
I don't think it'll affect the ECU's response to the throttle input (which, correct me if I'm wrong, causes the delay), from what I can see it just amplifies the throttle position value.
It's not how quickly you can mash the pedal down, it's how long the engine takes to react.
I always wished it would be harder to balance the throttle through the corners.
Get a Ph.1 if you want a more responsive throttle, get the above if you want a badmanz throttle which you only push down halfway because you don't want to unleash all 400bhp.
I like the 1*2's , it's a good value-for-money package with enough power for a daily, without being uneconomical or a diesel.
Clio for the week, Caterham for the weekend.
Only because he was the only other person there who had a car nearly as quick as Ken's. If they'd all been in Gymkhana Fiestas I guarantee Ken would have been much further down the board.
6: Roll again ;)
Personally I'd just run it into the ground. It's a runabout, so there's not a huge attachment to it (Obviously the 172 is a different matter!), it's cheaper just to run it until it breaks and then buy another one for peanuts.
