There no such upgrade never has been. The only 182 upgrade is the 182 Clio. There are some Renault garages which sell LAD tunned cars which have been claimed to have upto 200hp but there not offical upgrades only delearship ones.

Id say for better gains go with a unichip and some head work on the plebham etc.
Thats should get you about 25hp. I think about 35hp with cold air intake and exhaust.

What real gets me is the fact that the seller says its 2.5k cheaper than a proper turbo but fails to mention that one of the reasons for a turbo is for more power not just the noises.

There were some 1.9 Mk 2 phase 2 clios they were the old diesel engine with 80hp I think some may have been the 110hp ones.

Yep there a technical note out in March 2003 for the enigne I think.
But Im using an old version of the technical notes so maybe there has been even more updates.
The problem will be down to the same sort of thing as other Renault engines as there all similar ie electronic throttle bodies etc.

If your talking about a Mk 2 2 then you have the problem of the the multiplex wiring ECU but throttle bodies would rid you of the problemas they run stand alone ECUs

Have you not though about a diesel if your doing that sort of milage. I canot belive when peopel do that sort of miles per year in petrol a diesel would be much cheaper.

Have a look at the spark plugs or replace the IK with the normal airbox and take it to Renault they should be fine if you have just an exhaust.

You could fit it yourself but its a big job to do you need to replace quite few bits an pieces.Much chaper to get one of the type which has a clip on the dash
If you want to buy the bits from Renault well screen alone is over 800 and the disk is over 100 soyou can imagine the total price.
