If you bend the body shell beyond what can just be bent out the car will be written of a replacement body shell is about £1.5k but fitting all the bits back to it takes ages so the price become stupid.
Any chance of any pictures of the damage? I did the same sort of damage to mine when it was...

Thats for the part labeled 1 above though have a check its not any other broken bits ie piping.
Have a look back on the forum someone is selling on Ebay a load of stuff you would need to turbo the 16V, pistons, manifold, injectors and turbo I forget what else was on offer.
Cliosport discount I hope ;)
Id recomend you specialise ie imports or hot hatches.
The biggest problem will be loads of buyers will be young lads and trying to tell who is out for a test drive and who is serious could be difficult best get some paid experiance at a garage before setting up...
After seeing that picture and quite a few people remarking over how thay like it and seeing as the 182 could still be ligened then I guess its a possibility.
It would help keep the production demand up whilst they make the last 182s.
I know Jeramy said the bumber was an aftermarket thing but...
The 1.6 and 1.4 dynamics were at one time all called dynamic + as they had aircon and electric sunroof not sure what changed they have done though over the yrs to the model specification.
There a picture of a yellow two liter on the forum reciently have a look in media for it.
If some has started this as an april fols can they tell us all now as the idea of a 182 cup will help lower 172 and cup values so I might be convinced to get one.
Its not a filter BTW its soem stupid mismatched timing on the computers Jas needs to syncronise them again. Seem to be getting worse all the time this problem or it may just be me spending to much time on here.
But these modified intake kits in my opinion arnt worth it. The best gains are...
The version that people are buying is a version which is from last yr so prices have changed.
Im of to try and get a copy of the new software this weekend.
There are a few ways round it
1- See what tom182 said.
2 - Go to the dealership and ask them cost to change they will work it all out etc.
3 - After 18 months you can finish the contract and aslong as yourve not exceeded the allowance on the car leave it there and walk away.
4 - Contact...
Nope production finished in November some time.
There is a few probably unregisted on the Renault deaership network. And there are a few pre registered ones at dealers and other places.
There a few 172 as well left out there.
As for insuracne prices it can depend some companies rate the...
Thats a good price achually.
Permiership players and other young rich drivers usually have a few ways round the insuracne game one is to register all the cars to a business and then pay cheap business ate insurance so although they dont build up NCB it doesnt matter and anyone with the owners...
There a turbo kit supposed to be in development but how far it is Im unsure it was £1.5k for the kit and that included low compresion pistons which sounded quite good but another £1~1.5k fitment and its looks quite expensive especialy as the box is made of paper.
The 1.2 should make about...
I havnt read all that yet but the Clio one only advances the intake cams by 16 degrees. But there are uqite a few conditions that need to be met for it to adjust the timing. As far as I remember they are above 1200rpm and below 4500rpm. Oil temp above 80 degress (not cooling temp ie the one on...
Im sure I can make out 2.0 T badges on the new Clio pictures. Turboing it would be an easy way for more power they can just use a derated Megan engine.
Since the hot hatch hp war has been going up all the time. By 2005/2006 when its released theyll need about 200hp. Also even if they get the...
Well least yopu can same some money and spend it modding the 172 or whatever you get for some more HP.
Youve got quite a few bits now on your car It would seem a waste to sell the car after youve just personalised it .
Clio turbo is the new shape Clio engine (the one sharing the Micra platform) late 2005/ 2006 I think its due.
I thought id convinced you to leave it a bit a while back or is that someone else I made a big post explaining what the options are.
Good luck repairing it. If you crash a hire car into your own car then you can cancel the claim on the free Renault policy so although you have a claim on your name it is a claim which didnt cost the insurance company anything. Which may mean cheaper insurance than if you put a full claim in and...
Best mods would have to bve a strip out of the car for any excess weight.
Bigger diamter wheels would help by lowering your revs on the motorway you may have to drop down a gear more often though. Your speedo will be inacurate but youll be able to do more mph per gear.
Otherwise stick a few...
That picture was released ages ago and someone said it was a moded Renault employees Clio. Howver its got no plates although in France I think you need them so its not road legal so it may be a mule after all theres a v6 there with no plates as well (V6 cup version?)
Jeramy to be fair to him...
Its more of something to look sporty than have any noticible difference.
Youd have to have the car in a wind tunnel to see any gains and sicne there are so many other variables it would be a waste.
However BWM Mini was tested round the ring a while back with an adjustable spoiler for height...
I got the halford uprated ones H7 ones a few weeks ago (50% brighter type) seem to be much better especailly about 1 to 1 1/2 car lengths away. However I was driving round with only one headlight for a while so maybe the differecne would have been just as good with a normal replacemnt.
If they...
Isnt a unique and cheapest idea to drop a big engine in the back ie a FWD Volvo T5 or Saab aero engine or or a 1.8 in there? Surely you can buy a cheap wreck and almost weld the whole thing in.
The engine may need to be fooled but how difficult is that just dont connect the sensors and the...
Diesel dont need dump valves there a petrol thing. To do with throttle plates which diesel dont have.
There no waste gate though what your hearing is either the noise of the turbo as because you have taken your foot of the diesel combustion noise has gone. I think however I know what noise...
The more you do to the car the better it will be springs alone will be good but shocks as well will help (assuming there decient shocks). I dont think youll get any shocks on there own for £200 though. Best save the money IMO and get coilovers though there about £500 if you shop around so save...
