THE biggest tip is what that man above me says, if the shaft pops out, don't panic, and pop it back in.
Don't do what most (including myself) do, put your hands on your head and shout "f**k" as you lose all your gearbox oil for no reason at all, other than being an idiot.
Nope, four types of spoiler....
Bog standard, pov spec spoiler, (looks just like a plastic strip)
Dynamique/ph1 172/ph2 172/ph2 182 without cup pack spoiler, (the most common spoiler)
Cup spoiler (found on the 172 cup, and 182 with cup spoiler pack option)

Its totally filthy now, but I need to buy some good products and then give it a damn good clean :)
Where are the pics mate? Orpingon car park? I'd have popped up.
Very nice pics Ben, where was my invite? Thought you might have wanted a ride in the RS tbh!
Despite not having alloys and having an arch gap big enough to fit a water melon it actually looks really respectable for a non sport.
i.e the hub caps look quite good for hub caps, and it doesnt look...
Re: Project Ph1 OneSevenTwo
Mike (MikeB) came over tonight like the amazing guy he is, we whipped off the hillpower bend and inside the throttle body looked as if it'd had a clean, but a s**te one....
So we gave it a good clean and took it out for a "spin" nothing to exciting as it was very...
Good clean of the throttle body seem to have sorted them problem for now, result :)
I'll try cleaning up an old one when I get it, if it comes up well, I'll fit that.
200? Ouch!
Well it could be the cable, but I'm becoming more sure its the TB, it only does it once warm, a cold engine won't do it, so I can only assume that heat is making it stick, going to have a go a cleaning it with carb cleaner tonight on the car, see how it goes, if not I've got a sticky...

But the thing is, i'm not getting a beep as such, because its already on, so it's just a case of pressing lock, it...
After recently seeing an ebay link in a thread, showing the best* spark plugs for a RS to buy, I bookmarked it instantly and decided I'd start a folder of where to buy stuff for servicing etc for the car....
If people put some suggestions in here of what parts to buy for servicing RS's...
Thing is mate, if its just the solenoid, why can I sometimes randomly lock it by holding down the lock button inside the car? I think it may have something to do with the mech the solenoid triggers, ah well, guess I'll find out again, the mech the solenoid triggers will be the same on any...
I know amigo, I had them off the old one MANY times, but I always get the feeling they get worse fitting the more you take them off... silly I know, but still.
I'm not totally sure if they have "bigger handles" without elec windows, as my original clio was retro fitted with them, and they had tiny little grab handles.
Electrics is literally this simple....
Get 1x ignition live into each door, from cigarette lighter is a good choice.
Split this...
