I've had a little search people seem to suggest taking door card off etc and checking connection to the solenoid. I hope its as simple as this... Although I hate taking the door cards off etc. :(

None at all mate, as the locking mech is on the end of the door, not near any wires, thing is, (see my latest thread on it) if i HOLD DOWN the central locking button inside the car, it eventually locks/unlocks, but the key won't do it. I can both unlock and lock the door this way, but when...

Ok so I still have a problem with my passenger door.... it wouldnt open from the outside, now it turns out the central locking basically won't work to that side... but that not the funny thing... It seems as though when using the key, the central locking will not activate on that door??? I...

1x switch 1x fuse 2x battery/earth connection's 1x lenth of wire 1x connecting loom (if you dont have it, not the end of the world)

It probably wouldnt do much, if you post some pics to give me an idea of how fucked they are, I'll try advise you what's best to do now... lol!

Loom probably won't be there, mine wasn't, if you look at the fuse box in the side of the dash, there is a space for "fogs" (look at the symbols) if there is no metal in this hole (i.e the fuse won't go in as there is nothing to hold it) If this is the case, hard wiring is easy enough and can...

Tbh mate, getting them to work with the stalk etc is such a git its not worth it, I ended up hard wiring them. Worked a treat :)

Its been the same excuse pretty much, I've been saving for the car like a madman, and when saving, spending £20 in petrol to play a bit of footie isn't the best use of available funds. Now I have the car I can't afford the petrol until I get paid, LOL! Next time, next time.....

They do a ph1 one I believe, well i've seen one with a non sprot ph1 on the front... I need it for the central locking loom info...
