^Damn right!
You could always make a 172 haynes or a "172 Fred's" and sell it on here! Nice little earner! lol!
Did it tonight, gotta say, i had a look at a friends newer clio, and it was A LOT more visible than on mine, was VERY well hidden for some reason? LOL.
Thanks for all the help...
If you think your other products are selling well, wait until you manage to get a drive in/out service on this! I think you'll be minted!!! LOL!
Although I actually felt myself die a little inside when I read it wasnt ph1 compatiable....
Or is it possible to put the ph2 hub on the ph1...
Is there any chance I could have one of them too? (If you have one?) I managed to break one of the little pins and its a real b**ch to get a good connection without one?
Alternatively, James28 would you post me yours? I'm sure I could clean up one silver connector!
Standard colour? Or will you have to spray/have another one sprayed?
I have one fully prepped with one layer of random silver paint on it laying about.
Moving all the ciontrols out of the door is very easy as long as you're willing to drill out the bit where the existing wires go through as you need to fit a couple more wires through there (the electric wing mirror controls and direct switch wires from the window)....
The windows are stupidly...
Why do you say that? :D I'm pretty handy, but with the 1.2 I've just never had the will/space/time to work on the engine myself. I do all my own electrical work in the car and suspension etc, just never gone for it with the engine!
I don't think its not the right one anymore, thats the point...
Noice pics chaps, I'm a fan of no centre caps, but when I did it, no one was a fan of it (not that it matters, i've sold them now) lol!
Good selection of cars though, a rep, a modded non sport, and a sport, quite a good mk2 ph2 cross section!
You don't need a thread telling you how to do it, the wire is + the steering colum is - creating a short, so if the wire hits it, current, heat, fire.... etc......
All you have to do is disconnect the battery during fitting, and once you've fitted as per manufacturer's instructions, make sure...
I wanted to come to this next week but reading this I feel like I may need some sort of body armour!
Also does it matter if I havent played football at all in like 2 years and wasnt exactly great in the first place? LOL!
I will tmrw I promise! I'm not shy with this sort of stuff (do all my own electrics etc), just never actually gone and bought a haynes and gone for it! LOL! sorry :o
I'm guessing as I now have the standard air box on thats blocking my view of it!!! I'll have a good look tmrw, cheers :)
