Sleepy's Pearl Black Clio - Project Benga

Technically, the car must have both fitted, because retrofitted systems must meet the standard set out in the type approval for new cars. However, MOT testers can't fail every car that doesn't have them fitted because some older cars (such as the Toyota Supra) didn't have them from the factory...

Sleepy's Pearl Black Clio - Project Benga

Section 1.7 of the MOT tester's manual: Vehicles fitted with HID/LED headlights may be fitted with self-levelling and headlight washer systems. Where such systems are fitted, they must be operational. Reasons for rejection: Headlight washers/self-levelling inoperative. Headlight washers and...

Cs southwest meet - 17th August - exeter

Same, walked past someone wearing 'South West Remaps' and then a few seconds later it clicked. Turned round but you (if it was you) were long gone.

Well, not that cool lol, plus you can laugh at the damage. Think I walked straight past you at CSS.

CSS Survey - A few points to note.

True but there wasn't any real presence from the company, I'd have thought since we're one of the larger Renault owner clubs, they'd have made a bigger input. Loved the Megane maxi.

CSS Survey - A few points to note.

It'd be nice to see something (such as a stand) from Renault themselves? I mean I know they supplied a Twizy, but surely they could've made a stand up with a few of their latest models?

CSS Survey - A few points to note.

PMSL. Award at CSS13 for worst survey reply? It's a bit off that Gaydon won't let you choose the caterer, never come across that before. Short of holding CSS on a campsite, simply impossible. You could ban alcohol, but people might end up doing what happens at Bathurst and burying...

CSS Survey - A few points to note.

I genuinely couldn't think of anything I didn't like about CSS, but then I used my voucher to get drinks and didn't try the food. I wrote about the location because the link posted of the buggy simulator before the event showed it set up outside under a gazebo, so that's what I was looking for...

    What is this? Air vent?

I once built a racer for the Shell Eco Marathon, with the engine mounted outside at the back of the car. Because the c**kpit had a vertical back to it, we were trapping a load of still air behind the c**kpit, right where the exhaust was kicking out. The bulkhead at the back of the c**kpit had a...

    182 xenons on a non-sport?

There is NO requirement for washers and self levelling to be fitted to pass an MOT, only that if the systems are fitted, they must work. Section 1.7 of the 2012 MOT testers manual says: 'Vehicles fitted with HID or LED headlights may have self levelling and headlamp washer systems fitted...

    "low fuel" limiter?

Tbh the fact that the exhaust pops suggests to me that unburnt fuel is being sent down it, which would point to ignition. So yeah, try plugs.

Mk1 Ph1 Clio Grande front fogs.

If there is a guide, I'm afraid it'd only be available to CS members. I believe it's just a case of swapping the blanks for the light units, and then I think there's a loom to hook up, and the light stalk needs to be swapped. I would 100% recommend paying the £12 for membership. I've saved...

    Best exhaust for a 1.2

You'd have to tell them about the exhaust anyway. Or you could just get another non sport bumper.
