Cool. Now you mention it I did wonder why my horn was on the end of the indicator stalk and not the steering wheel. But the wheel does have the symbols etc to suggest the horn button should be there.
If I purchase this correct stalk set from eBay would I need anything else to get the horn back...
I noticed tonight that my front foglights don't come on with the rear foglights and on the left stalk there is only 1 click which turns on the rears.
I remember on my 182 1 click did the fronts and another click put the rears on.
Am I missing something? Is there a different switch for them on...
I fit one of these in my old 182.

Air con rad just bolts to the front. I did need a blanking plug for one of...
Nah supersports is straight through.
However I did buy both centre sections to play about with. Best combination was sports centre section with a decat.
Supersports with decat was just silly loud lol.
I had a ktec 2.25 supersports on my old 182 and it sounded good when giving it some but pottering around it sounded a bit naff, wish I'd spent the extra on the 2.5 version.
Well guys. I changed the tyres today and it's now perfect.
I just need to get the front left camber sorted but I think the allignment place will really think I'm taking the mick if I make another adjustment lol.
Thanks for all the help.
Update on this.
Had my rear end corrected with shims and allignment re done but it's still pulling to the left.
Could the front camber be also causing this? The front left had got quite a bit less negative camber than the right.
Im assuming this could be corrected by slackening the strut and...
Ah right lol that doesn't sound good.
Is there any stainless stealths currently for sale? I don't mind joining but I'm pretty desperate so don't want to chuck 15 quid at membership if there's nothing fs lol.
I need a new exhaust for my 172 but don't have a great deal to play with 240 is my absolute max which would get me a ktec mild steel stealth.
Is there a anything better for that sort of Money? Stainless options start at around 300 which is a bit much the shell out at the minute.
Get a bar and check for any play in the ball joints, rod ends etc. But as you've bought the stuff anyway you can check as you fit. If nothing appears off then check the shafts for any excessive play, also check the inner tie rods for play.
Strut top mounts can also get noisy
How do I access the relay? Just had a look behind the glove box and couldn't see a great deal or work out how to get the glove box out. I did notice a plug which had about 6 pins which wasn't connected to anything
Driving home tonight and all my dash lights went out. I was on auto headlight.
So I flicked the lights on and off and they came back on.
I'm guessing it's a relay, any ideas which one it is?
Great thanks guys. I'll call pm tomorrow and see whatbthey suggest
Slightly relieved as I really can't be arsed to swap the beam and the shims look a piece of cake to fit.
Possibly I'll strip it at the weekend and see if there is any fitted.
Can a shim be fitted on top of a shim?
Ie a 1.5 degree camber shim to correct the camber and then a 1 degree toe shim to correct the toe?
What's the chance of it been corrected with a set of these?
http://www.pure-motorsport.co.uk/details.php?itemid=128
One on the right for the camber and one on the left to fix the toe?
Yeh as I though.
Would there be enough movement to try and correct it if I slackened the rear axle and try to re centre it and nip back up?
Do those reading suggest a bent axle or stub axle?
Thanks mate.
Did all that and there were no abnormalities so I got a hunter allignment check done after checking everything over on the ramp.
I have attached the results.
Does any of that look bad enough to cause a pull to the left?
Well upon closer I section last night I can see that the rear passenger side wheel seems to be toed in a few degrees more than the drivers side.
Is that likely to cause a pull? I'm going to get it on a hunter system at the weekend and get a printout.
K I'll have a proper look at the weekend.
If a stub was bent though wouldn't it still spin normally as the bend would be before where the bearing sits?
Could a shot rear bush on the torsion beam cause a similar effect?
No they were pretty pikey to be honest not the most professional guys in...
