ok, after having them posted from mainland UK to Dublin, then hand carried to Johannesburg, then flown cargo to Cape Town, they are finally here - clio rubber floor mats... anyways, theres these 2 tabs on the ends, do I cut them off, cant really see a purpose for them?

oh, forgot to mention, we got water restrictions, so cant wash cars with a hose any more, have to use buckets, takes ages to get rid of all the soap (most of the time I just use the hose anyways)....bloody annoying.

used my Meguires NXT generation car wash the other day for the 1st time, really seems to work better than other stuff I have used in the past, just feels more slick when sponging.....dried it off with that cotton wipe of theirs, expensive but works geat too. never gonna skimp on car care stuff...

god its a sad day whe you have to choose a car based on the insurance premium.....glad I dony live in the UK, hell you dont even have to have insurance here. I bought my clio new, and have never had to take it anywhere near a roadworthy place in 3.5 years.......:)

a 182 has no spare wheel? if so I would just make a false floor.... otherwise, mts 2ch amps will fit nicely under the passanger seat....

j-jay, thanks very much, they look just like the one in my swiss catalogue, however the part no. mentioned is 77 01 416 253 for 3-set and a 4 set ends in 254. James above mentioned the number ending ...258. Is the matt above ending 258 ? sorry about all the questions about flippin mats...

ok, my mate has checked, they dont keep stock of that part no. in ireland, but they order from UK, Eur 32.80 for the set (incl. postage to dubiln) think I will order them.... do they look oem, as in well fitting like the carpet ones ?

what exactly are you doing with it, did you have some damage, or taking off bump strips etc ?

anyone know if you can get some renault rubber mats for clios. I have a catalogue from a few years ago and they have some in there, do you know if they still keep them in stock in the UK ? part number ?? need to get some posted to me asap for winter (s.hemisphere ;))

finally, upgraded the fronts, lightning audio splits, was worried about the dash etc. (mk2 ph 1) guy at the shop hadnt removed a clio dash before, so we both went at it blind, must admit, Im the most paranoid guy around regards my car, but the dash thing is no problem, so if anyones been...

how can this be easily done, do you have to have 2 x pre-outs on the HU, or does the 2nd amp connect to the first somehow ? I did a search and someone mentioned something about a splitter or something.... ....or do I just try and sell my 2 ch amp an buy a 4ch one ?? ....will a 2nd amp affect...

I meant the Lightning Audio handle 40W rms, renault ones are like 5W eh :) really just want to upgrade everything to same range....

do you think I will actually notice a diff if I change the factory rear 5.25" (40w rms) sepakers with some LA Bolt ones....unamped off std headunit. Bear in mind the factory speakers are over 3 years old.

must be honest it fell over the other day, opended the boot and there it was (shock horror) funny tho, it conincided with a day that my girlfriend had the car..... fits snug though, would velcro make much differnce ?
