yeah, carpet to match the boot but hopefully some grey vinyl inserts on the front panel ?? need to find the perfect grill, the "waffle iron" Im using at the moment, although very practical, looks crap.....well at least those clips that hold it in place, need somethnig more subtle......ideas ?

chip board - yes used chip board for my current box as I got it fo free, was going to buy MDF but then got more chip for free....bottom line.....Im cheap! the mdf is sold by a huge sheet and is quite expensive....Think it was about R280.

well, according to the specs, the xmax is 0.1" and the sub debth is 4.9" and the box depth is 6", so in theory accoding to the above should be ok. lets hope ;)

Ive read you only need at leat 1" behind the magnet of your woofer for a sealed enclosure. can any one confirm ths, my 10" has a mounting depth of 4.9" and want to build my box with an internal depth of 6", will it be OK ?

I have an amp under the passanger seat, fits in pefectly, (2ch), keeps things neat and tidy. 4ch amp wont go in tho, I would have bought a 4ch if it cuold have fitted, but anyways.

thinking of trying vinyl instead of the usual accoustic carpet, I know can look good if done properly. but I think youhave to heat up vinyl which I presume can be quite tricky ??

after thought, I just got another quote last week which was about R500 a month, Im currently doing it through my dads insurance so its much cheaper. so thats like GBP 520 a year.

about R372 per month (thats about 33 quid per month)
