boot cleared out masked and foiled first layers out - 2 layers thick

I'm thinking of having a bolt tack welded to the boot and then drill a hole in the enclosure and bolt it down, plus a dash of silicone to seal it up.

no expert here, but if revs affec it it then its a power cable inteference ? right ?

cool, did yu take the whole 1/4 panel off and mount a mdf ring from the back ? how difficult is it to do that ?? that plastic is so flexy........has the mdf stifened it up ??

I know this may be off topic slightly, but regarding the wooden spacers does this make a difference to the sound as the speaker is mounted more rigidly than it is when screwed straight into the plastic door card ?

long story is that i might be going from a 1.6 to a 1.4 anyway to give a 1.4 a little more power ? filter? freeflow exhaust ? anything you can reccomend that doesn't affect the waranty ?? or am I being a bit picky - will I be happy with a 1.4 ?

trade was good - same as about 19000km's ago. problem is that there are no more 1.6 dynmiques in the country. so my only other option is a 1.4 limo on 15's. whats the power like ? they say 72kw compared to the 1.6's 79kw ?? don't like the back doors :(
