And to verify the settings above are spot on, it makes me realise on the softest setting it was a bit crashy. The car feels planted now, not too hard - you will feel potholes big time but you'll want to avoid them anyway!
you're not pulling on the rod end there, you're pulling on the rod. People on here often refer to inner and outer rod ends but the inner end is the track rod itself and the outer end is smply the track rod end.

It might not be dead in the water, tooling can be a fortune though although in my experience with rubber moulding its a bit easier as the parts are flexible so you can tease them off the tool.

Was going to remove my left hand one 3d scan it and then tool them for Polyurethane rubber moulding and punt them on here and ebay but alas I'd need 2 tools (2 impressions) and cant afford to be doing that.
Mine snapped as I was doing a hill start out of a parallel parking space on a huge mofo hill lol bit of clutch control saved the day.

They were the ones to go for a few years ago, possibly still are. Nice ride comfort aswell as improved handling and feel.
182 with cup packs has a limited choice, if you search its discussed a million times.
Personally I have Koni adjustables and Eibach sportlines, but these shocks wouldn't fit your 182
