MX5's are very adjustable aren't they, including caster?
I have just replaced my track rods and had an alignment and fitted camber bolts and it's night and day!
Well I've had the 172 about 18 months now I think and living in a flat it suffers a bit of handwashing neglect. The koni's and eibachs have been on for about 11 months now and having fitted new tyres it was time to sort the camber out.

I'd say there's plenty of old porsches that RS clio's are quicker than these days. At the end of the day it's easier for most people to drive fwd cars quickly so it wouldn't surprise me if a good driver like Mark owned a few on track, even more modern ones that aren't being driven properly too.

Have had pe2's, paradas and toyos between my 182 and 172 and now stick to Hankook. My 205 is on pe2s still but 15" are much cheaper anyway.

about -1.5deg camber is good without being exccessive, mine runs -2.5 because I dont have camber adjustment and I will soon have camber bolts and change it to -1.5deg.
BAlanced the rear wheels today and rotated to the front, no buckles - slight track rod / track rod end play on drivers side but nothing that'd fail an mot. Will see if it's any better but have booked it in for track rods, track rod ends and camber correcting bolts!
