Rooflining doesnt need to be removed to replace the aerial btw, its an hr job as cable has a join on drivers side rear, and simply pull rooflining down at the back.
Cheers mate!
I could lie and say it was easy to modify the display but i had some head scratching moments modifying the coding. Also arse nipping writing custom code incase it went wrong, i just send it and hope for the best. All worked out OK, No guts no glory:LOL:
Sill drains are on the sill lip from memory.
Jack up on the inner most chassis rail/box section, the long one that goes front to back of the car. Its absolutely solid, if your jack wont reach upgrade to a long reach/low profile one with 100mm plate.
Updates.
Washed the r26 whilst i done the 250 yesterday. Brake dust on the wheels/side of the car was horrendous.
Much better. Just under 2 weeks until Spa Francorchamps, cant wait.
Thanks for reading!!
With this done i done some more coding to the rs monitor.
The boost gauge was still going to the top and we had adjusted it to 1800mbar assuming it was using gauge pressure, but all it showed was 1800> on full boost
Note peak reading line maxing out the bar graph.
As i had been logging with...

250 out for a few bits yesterday.
First job was to fit a Properfekt recirc valve. I had fitted a blanking plate before mapping and had noted the car flashing up spanner light for a split second on high rpm throttle lift/hitting rev limiter and throttle close. Basically the spanner...
As above, yellowstuff are terrible, avoid.
I use ferodo ds1.11. They work/bite better than oem from cold. Downside, is they are a race pad. So brake dust and noise are both high.
Ideally if doing a fair few road miles, best solution is to run stock pads for road use and fit the good pads for...
Check the wiring from coolant temp sensor to ecu to see if its shorted out or bad connection. Assuming new sensor is good, can only be that or ecu as the data is sent to the dash via canbus.
Also what does live data says on the obd.
Id bin the klarius exhaust for something a bit more free flowing and get an exhaust place to extend the centre pipe to manifold with a flexipipe and vband, so only one joint.
Disconnect the clt sensor on thermostat housing and see what coolant temp gauge reads with ign on. Its probably faulty sensor but will give you an indication if the gauge is faulty, gauge should read nothing when disconnected from memory.
I prefer clip for mk2 personally as it gives you the exact data on the dtc.
Cant go wrong with Renolink, however its mostly short hand french so need to be a bit careful on what your doing and dtc data can be a bit thin.
Rst is also good, but costs a small fortune in modules.
Updates.
Took the r26 down my mates garage for geo on Sunday. They were super busy as short on staff but geo ramp was free. Asked my mate if it was ok to have a crack at it myself and he said crack on. So i did.
It was a nice easy job to do, i have seen my mate do it a million times before...

Had the 250 out at the weekend to custom code the rs monitor v1. Massive thanks to Turborenault members for doing the research Cossie1 for sharing the information and Mart for doing the business on the custom coding.
I modified a proscan Elm327 cable with switchable can h/can m so i...
