Ill give that a go as my dab reception is terrible in my clio.
I have a roof mounted one that looks like oem which worked ok then failed, replaced for another and it lasted 2 mins.
Twin scroll turbo so one wastegate for each scroll on the turbo, with 2x exhaust ports feeding each side. In theory one large gate would work but thats how Nortech set it up.
It does spool quite fast for a low comp engine and large turbo, so overall it works decent. All in around 3800rpm from...
Small update.
Some/most of you noticed i had a small protein beaker as a catch tank on the Trophy. It was a last min thing before mapping and was a bit pikey but worked so sent it.
Protein beaker in corner.
Ive been looking for options for a 2ltr catch tank but no room apart from above the...
Update.
Give the scuttle panel on the blue dci the ceracote ceramic trim wipe treatment. Fiddly to do in situ without removing wipers etc but managed it.
Before, faded to fcuk.
After.
Night and day difference. Should last ages too as the bits i done on the kangoo are still spot on 12months...
Took the orange dci out yesterday as i had to move it off the drive to get the blue 225 out of the garage.
Not used it for ages as it needed fuel and couldnt be arsed to fill it, but had a bit of spare time yesterday so stuck some in. Bit of agressive braking soon de rusted the discs. Flys...
Road trip to Grimbsy yesterday, for car parts obvs.
Donny services was pretty s**t.
Loads of 6 gear cruising.
20t hybrid makes all the noise.
Just the right size for 4x rims with no tyres
260 mile round trip. Easy driving apart from lack of air con.
Thanks for reading!!
Updates.
Cleaned both dci's this morning.
Treated the blue dci to a bit of tyre gel and a ceracote trim wipe on all the plastics and spoiler as all very faded.
Scrubs up alright for 203k!
Thanks for reading!!
A crack habit would be cheaper than owning this but i might aswell send it. See if my own engine build will make the numbers.
Cheers mate ill have a look. I think 400hp will be the sweet spot on the street but be nice to have an efficient setup to make good numbers on high boost.
Honestly...
Washed it this morning before work. Its not been cleaned in ages but still comes up great.
If i get chance ill get a day on it before weather goes tits up and give it a tickle with the d/a and a coating of something.
Ive also started buying bits for a garrett turbo upgrade. Nortech exhaust...

Had a few spare hours today so done a bit to the kangoo.
The aquablasted cam cover was looking a mess with xcp and muck all over it. Give it some brake cleaner and a rag, and coated with acf50 for now whilst weather is mild.
Not perfect but much better than it was. Hard to keep it...
Same, tried all ways and didnt see a massive difference. I could keep the megane flat all the way to the blue and stand on the brakes but it can get lively under braking, and you come up behind other cars really quick around 115mph.
Not sure if its just me or the circuit seems to get slippy in...

Quickly washed it on Friday whilst i had the gear out. Rubber marks all over it from Anglesey, i think every panel had a reminder on it
With its intended use for track/fun/fast driving, i expect a few marks but everything came off quite easy. The coat of c2v3 i give it last...
Great to catch up @NickReilly063 and thanks again for passing the invite over or i would have missed this. Actually was a bucket list thing for me to do a factory tour and it did not dissapoint.
I set off shortly after you left, should have tagged along. The trophy did not like them back roads...
We done some b road driving on Sat and the roads had cambered/worn parts which is not good for a fairly low car. Its on bilstein b14 so pretty solid but still.
I have a renault sport metal sump guard on it as a sacrificial, as the sump and ndo gearbox diff casing is slightly lower / exposed...
Updates
As above, I was asked if i fancied attending a meet last Saturday at the Alpine f1 factory, with guided tour for 20 year anniversary of the Trophy. Absolutely could not say no to that even though 500 mile round trip.
The factory tour was unreal. A few pics from reception as strictly no...
Wheel bolt with grooves in works great for removing powdercoat off the tapered seat. I have to do this every fooking time i get wheels refurbed.
Not sure if i drive hotter these days but every trackday ive done the wheels need retorquing quite often, had up to 1/4 of a turn on them mid morning...
Ps4s decent enough in winter, dont hook up as well on front in low temps but wont kill you. Same as any summer performace tyre in winter.
Crossclimates are a good summer/winter tyre but not performance.
A few track pics from CSF, thanks to everybody who took the pics 👌
Mega day. Honestly think this car does it all for me. Fast enough, handling is unreal and drive to the circuit and home in comfort.
