Here's a photo of the setup on my R26. It goes into Mocal catch can and then to ITG breather filter down behind the headlight.
It shouldn't collect that much as mine barely has enough oil to line the bottom after 8k miles.
Yes, it can read boost as well but I'm not sure it's setup right so I display voltage, water temp, air temp, and speed. Speed reads same as gps so I use that to set cruise control through 50mph average speed zones etc.
Scanguage uses obd port so I think it takes reading from the sensor after the intercooler before the inlet. It always reads 2 degrees above ambient when driving along normally.
I don't think a gauge would have made any difference. Scangauge shows water and air intake temperature so I see if anything out of ordinary is happening.
Think I'll install an oil pressure warning light, probably more likely to respond to that quickly than a gauge.
Latest purchase is an oil cooler with Mocal thermostat which I've just bought for £55 posted on RSMegane.com :grinning:

I'm still undecided. It looks great and I'd like one on my car but I don't really need it. My car is capable of 380bhp with a fuel system so my 3" Ktec exhaust isn't holding it back.
I'm using Carbotech XP8's up front on HC...
I finally managed to get my AEM AFR gauge working last weekend.
To power it I used a piggyback fuse holder and the 15amp Radio fuse as the source for my 12v switched power so it turns on and off with my ignition.
To give better access for feeding the wires where they needed to go I removed...
The Ktec 3" reduces after the silencer and it's quieter than 70mm system which I like so I'd probably spec the silencer to be bigger than you've chosen. I'm hoping the CGR exhaust won't be more than £600 otherwise I don't see value in swapping.
Was your old system the Ktec 3" exhaust? Is the new exhaust any louder?
I've got a Ktec 3" at moment and like that it's quiet at motorway speeds but sounds good when you boot it.
This isn't likely to happen unless more people express an interest. Any car is welcome so if you're interested in attending either post in the thread or vote on the poll.
