When you floor it in 2nd there's some induction roar audible inside the car which sounds quite meaty tbh. Sure its no straight 6 or V8 but I know what he means
The engines are reliable, in 5 years of RS ownership never had one let me down. They're reliable but thats not to say they'll be without minor niggles or build quality issues.
Nice one, love f1 cups!
Scottish Transmission services are cheap as chips for clutches. driveshafts not sure about rebuilds / recons on boxes.
Use somewhere the taxi drivers use cause they'll be reliable and reasonably priced...
gary check out performancetyres next time, they have a place in Ayrshire and I got my hankooks fitted at their Glasgow branch.

182 - £12k new in 2004, sold for £6650 in 2007 on 40k
172 - £3350 on 54k, 52 plate bought in 2009
If you wanna know what 182 prices will do, look at 172 prices. My 172 cost about half what I sold my 182 for and to all intents and purposes its every bit as much car.
I got mine here:

Brown Bear has been recommending them for ages so I bought two recently and they're great. Cheapest from camskill or performancetyres
I bought mine on ebay actually.
I doubt it fell in the water with the large towrope attached to it.
You can check the insurance database and if it's not insured there's 3 possibilities:
1. Its being driven by a tw*t
2. It's off the road temporarily
3. It's off the road permenantly
