@NorthloopCup ttv supply the ktec one don't they, yours the same but cheaper :). Really liked my ttv wheel when I had it. If funds allow ill be doing it again
Last time I bought the 7 flywheel bolts it came to just shy of £20
Yeah they do don't they. Still not going on for a while though unfortunately. The car was worse than it looked and came out worse than it looks! Now it's had a few days on the roads though it's now even worse again :/
Yesterday I went about fitting the arb I bought from @gudger12345. Have to...
This is exactly what I had on my car when the EGR valve was busted although I didn't notice any additional exhaust noise though. Swapped it for my spare and it was back to normal again. When the EGR broke I would put my foot down and the car wouldn't increase in speed at all!
write off, cat C absolutely no question, I wouldn't even bother doing an estimate.
Let me know if you buy it back and fancy selling it  minus the seats obvious!
Photos are very cool mate. What you said about the rear arb made me realise why my car doesn't handle like the old one........now purchased!
Ring cover sounds like a brilliant addition. That was the biggest concern when I went.
Ahh perfect. I believe the other one is maybe rated higher but worth trying.
Yeah I know mate. I snipped the plug when I had that 80 for a while. The kangoo runs one so I'll check the connections before plugging it in. Will check if it moves before replacing it, the gate obviously isn't...
Right chaps. 2 things I'm thinking of doing. First is replacing the actuator as it's clearly now disposing of enough gas, especially when load on the engine is at its highest.
Is there a difference between the two map sensors fitted to these. I currently have this map sensor...
I think it was more soot as it boosted much higher than it had before.
Your custom driveshafts would cost less than it did for my respray! I've ordered a new panel that the boost gauge is attached to so I can keep it in the same place but move it over so I can get my cup in.
One little...
In my mind it's like that! We'll see at SRR though.
It's actually absolutely fine because it's not at the bottom of the cup holder. Had thought about that before driving; the german in me (that's a lie). The only section that's a little obscured is where 2 bar is and I hope I won't be getting...
headlights came up tip top. Need to do mine like that at somepoint! What compound did you use?
ps you want a 123d because the numbers are in a row, it pleases the mind.
Decided to have a break from coursework for the afternoon and managed to get a couple of bits done on the car. First was to fix the horn which turned out to be a fuse.
Next was the boost bits I got earlier on in the week. In the video showing the car over boosting you can see the gauge isn't...
I feel our brains are connected in some way. I had a look at 318d edition m sports but all were still holding their money a little too well so I decided to keep my money lock away to prevent an I pulse purchase! Those 1 series coupes in good spec are like rock horse plops or as you say are moon...
@scooby-93 it hasn't been mapped mate. Completely factory ecu unfortunately! The only mods it has is a DCI 80 intercooler and decat which actually made the point at which it does this a little later.
Just found this on a WRX forum which does add up "Sounds like you either have a manual boost...
It's also no where near a 14 hour job. One of the first jobs I did on a car was change the clutch. Seems daunting but really isn't as bad as you think. I'd find a friend of a friend to fit it if I were you and get the parts from the UK on a pallet.
Sounds like there's a market for supplying...
I think that's fair enough. The oil flush isn't really a solve for much but saying there's no point in changing the oil when you'd have to drop it again is right and saved you money. Don't drive it as the oil flush will make the oil like water. If the pump has gone the chain may be in the sump...
I have exactly the same with a mk4 so understand that dilema, especially the refinement part. Had a long run in a 325d recently and it was the most relaxing 200 miles ever, not like the Clio which makes me feel stressed!
I have to say I'm ruddy chuffed with them. Must resist putting them on until the weather gets better!
Thank you mate, there's always room for tweaks here and there ;)
I'm sure it doesn't! Speed is one thing this barge doesn't have the joy of. I didn't in the end and have decided to run them as...
a rod type thing is what it is. I went to adjust it last weekend and it's got all the original Renault red thread mark on it. Look at the first page of my project thread. Noone would try and up the boost on that piece of crap ;)
Don't sell it. The saving owning a diesel is so good that doing a long commute in anything more juicy is like being robbed. My 182 only really worked for me when I had the DCI as my run about so you'll regret it!
Bargain on the TRE!
