I've never come accross this and it's a most odd problem. One of the regulator flaps must be blocking the flow.
Is there any change when you press recirculation on the unit.
You can hear when it boosts up. Boost will generally be after 2k. Hissing noise. If it's not boosting properly you will be accelerating extremely slowly, revs won't build up quickly.
My egr valve is sticky at the moment and stopping my boost building up properly, i'm below 2k and put my foot...
the pump will be the same Ash. If the pipes are okay at the moment then I would change the pump and then have a look at the pipes when up and running again. Make sure no PS fluid has got on the cambelt.
Correct on the pipe being different
yeah DIY. 10 bolts on the bottom of the sunroof with a 10mm ratchet spanner. Get some 3m blue tape to mask around the sunroof so you don't get sealant on the roof...
I really don't know a resolution but set up my dual screen at work the other day and used a splitter on the back of the graphics card. Maybe you could do something similar. The UI recognised there were 2 screens so it didn't just split the resolution and the screens were different sizes.
I pass these cars everyday and have never seen one looking fresh. They are parked on blackheath common and every residents car gets absolutely filthy being parked next to the road.
Yeah I agree. Decent oil lasts a very long time. I used Nanodrive as well, change every 10k. Previously have used fuchs titan pro (or whatever it's called) 5w40 and I couldn't knock it.
Ever since using asda oil in my first car and the majority of it coming out of the exhaust I've never used...
Yeah.
You can either program out the side airbags with clip or put resistors in the connector blocks like in one of the guides. Takes longer to wire in the pretensioners but the same resolution as the airbags if you choose not to plug them in
Yes that is the right cat, yours has been sleeved to fit a cat back exhaust.
Anyone with a welder can sleeve the cat. Just cut off the donut and weld the correct diameter pipe on.
This was my sleeved cat, cost me £15 to get welded and a few quid for the pipe. You can probably cut that pipe...
I wouldn't get any panel filter. The gain is so negligible you'd never notice it.
Of course if the car has a MAF sensor then don't get an oiled filter e.g. k&n
I though the car ran better with the pops and bangs map on but only used to put it on for a "feel good friday"
It's bad for the exhaust valves so I wouldn't run it everyday. 98 ron map is fine. Believe I still have some calibrations knocking about somewhere.
dci has a map sensor. Thats the one that clips onto the airbox. If the car runs better without it plugged in then that's the faulty part. When you replace it it will run better than with it unplugged.
Clean the hard EGR/intake pipe whilst your at it as that will make it run better. Do you get...
Rubbish update.
Braking problem fixed, the outer ARB bracket had snapped off leaving this stub of what it once was.
Fitted braided front lines which now means it's braided brakes all round.
Other than that all is the same  still clocking up the miles nicely.
Will be going to the...
SOLVED!!!
I got fed up with the problem in the end, popped it in the garage (which I have never done) and due to the joy of having a ramp and being able to look from underneath they found the O/S arb bracket was missing.
I've fitted the new one this morning and the car now brakes exactly as...
God knows what welding your throttle means.
Look at the small relays in the engine bay as they oftern cause this problem if faulty, seen it three times now.
A bad gearbox earth will also do the same thing
Only just seen this sorry. Everything is different I fortunately. The heater box in the car and under the scuttle panel. If you strip the loom it's pretty simple though so shouldn't be too much hassle. As the looms for both types are risky available I would buy which ever suits
it's just the line. No banjos or anything as you don't need them!!
Need an 11mm spanner and 14mm if I remember correctly. Some way of bleeding the brakes as well of course.
I had Matt Lewis on my old track car and they were good. I now have toms matt lewis ones on my current car and they are...
Clios are the easiest car to clock. You change the clocks, that's it, no programming required.
Not to say this car has had it done though; bar the decals it looks really good and I considered putting in an offer until I wasn't allowed more cars :(
