I just use the very tip of my finger, it’s no greater heartache than you having to swipe up to unlock.
Which takes me back to my previous point - compliment not replace
So there are scenarios where one works and the other doesn’t either faceID of touchID.
Sounds like an ideal opportunity to have both compliment each other to me but Apple cheaped out (with both hardware and design)...
It’s hardly more secure when on this very site we have a brother fooling...

You do because currently as seen in this thread recently faceID is flawed in certain circumstances where touchID isn’t.
Like I said, compliment not replace
I don’t know how to say this any different lol,
I pick up my phone with my thumb on the home button and the phone wakes to the lock screen when it’s raised and almost instantly unlocks to whatever I was looking at last, if it was the home screen then it’s the home screen, if it was an app it...
You don’t need to press a button on any iphone, just raise to wake with your thumb on the sensor, or 1 press of the button if your not holding it conventionally. Doesn’t get any simpler, faceID just complicates these processes. The phone needed both to be completely secure imo.
A notch at the...
I agree but its in my head now after having a close call. Nothing like a close call to make you realise your morality. Axle stands can and do fail, so do these posh lifts, I just want to know if they do go, have I got a chabce to get out
The thing for me is it could fail with 10 tons on it or 1 ton on it either way I’m toast if it’s safety feature (that little bar) is useless. Hence I’d like to see one fail under lid to see how that handles it. That’s when it becomes worth the money imo
So you can electronically tell it to shift up or down using shift paddles or such? I’m assuming this still doesn’t need a clutch pedal...?
Will do some more research later - been a bit busy today...
Yeah she’s pretty good with me tbf. We currently have 6 cars littering the driveway/garage and I’ve not had a big complaint.
Into both of those for £1200 though so hopefully my idea of keeping this budget will continue along the same path. And I found a good rwd subframe for £25 so looking good...
Not sure if hsbc are adopting Face ID or if it just gets transferred over just because it’s a replacement for Touch ID.
Guess you can test hat one out for me
A pit is no use and it gets in the way.
When hydraulics give they go gently, not suddenly like an axle stand, plus that ranger has a safety pole I the hydraulics do give
