When I fitted them to my 172 they improved throttle response and made the handling feel tighter, but on the Megane they caused a lot of harsh vibration for no benefit.
It could be mine weren't fitted...
Plan was to fit my Mocal catch tank yesterday but the rain stopped me.
I got home from early today and the weather was ok so I decided to attempting fitting it.
Decided to use velcro coins to mount it on the battery tray. Figure they hold my number plates on at 160 so should be up to the job...
I'd leave the power as it is but then I like to take risks lol
295bhp must be close to the limit of the standard turbo.
What brand are your engine mounts? I fitted a set of Vibratechnics but sold them after a week as they were awful.

No, never taken it on a drag strip.
I've never found it that great at getting off the line and even though I've got an R26r clutch and SMF it's still a potential weak point.
It's not something that has ever appealed to me either as I've heard RWYB day at...

It's run three different specs.
Originally it was Stage 2 with Forge intercooler, Forge actuator, Forge recirc and 2.75" decat. That made 270bhp and 333lbft at TDF.
Then I added the ITG kit, Forge hard pipe kit, 630cc injectors and 3" Ktec exhaust. Went for mapping and turbo was fucked so only...
I wouldn't know how long it takes, first time I went for mapping the turbo was fucked then the second time my timing was out. Hoping for third time lucky.
I rung up on Friday asking for the 5th but Specky said they were busy so booked me in on the 6th at 11am.
R26 looks great :)
What spacers have you got?
Regarding torque, my old engine ran on a stage 2 map for over 70k miles, majority of time running between 315 and 330lbft of torque.
When I stripped the engine down the rods were fine but two pistons were cracked on the ring lands. I don't think...
