I also think it's got cams as it feels similar to Chris' petrol blue...
It's difficult because I supplied all the parts and garage put them all together. I don't want the garage to rectify it as I've lost confidence in them. I'm friends with the garage owner who built the engine as well so don't want to fall out over it
That's why if it's kept it'll be going to RS...
Thanks for the responses.
It's either getting sold or transported up to RS Tuning for a rebuild, part of me hopes it's the latter. Part thinks I've had such bad luck over the last few years that I should just quit now and accept my loses.
I think it's down to the build as too many things have...
Engine is damaged so I'm putting it up for sale http://www.cliosport.net/threads/megane-r26-liquid-yellow-£4500.771322/
£3500 without the brand new RS Tuning Megane 250 hybrid turbo.
I will rebuild the engine though if I don't receive a satisfactory offer.
I'm also on the look out for...
I was wondering how you were finding it after the refresh.
The engine mounts make a massive difference :grinning:
Are you going to fit the passenger seat for the Ring?
I tested it properly and it feels very strong to me so hopefully it'll make the figures. I've only got vague memories of my Monaco 172 to compare to but it seems to pull much harder to the limiter. The in gear acceleration is fantastic and I didn't feel like I needed to use the full rev range...
Gutted for you as i said on the PM.
I'd chuck in a second hand engine and fit the ITBs and Gen90.
It would be a shame to sell the ITBs before you've had the opportunity to enjoy them properly.
I'm back in a Clio 182 again, managed to pick up this Cat C Petrol Blue really cheap.
Feels like it's got cams as it goes much better than my Monaco 172 :)
176bhp is at the flywheel figure, and 146 is at the wheels figure.
You should have three graphs showing flywheel bhp and afr (air fuel ratio), flywheel bhp and torque, and wheels bhp and torque.
Today was the 10th Annual Cliosport Surrey Rolling Road Day, and the first at the new location in Farnborough.
Turnout was fantastic with 26 cars and here are the results in running order.....
I rounded most bhp figures down unless it was .8bhp or higher.
