eibach springs are much better, if you go for vmax I'll give you £140 for your shocks if their genuine Renault and 172 part numbers ;)

I have been debating Koni adjustables and sportlines but feck it I'm going for Renault shocks with sportlines, the shocks will have an easier life with the progressive springs. Already got the springs so its £175 v's £450 so Renault wins.

well thats an hours labour then which is what they quoted, I dont have time and can't be arsed either. Happy to pay an hours labour and if they get the wrong shaft then it aint my problem.

Verdict: offside outer cv boot had split and thus it's run dry and is goosed. Offside front shock goosed, nearside rear shock goosed (shocks I knew about and am hunting for Konis ideally!) and front discs are near goosed too lol - I don't brake heavily but will do this as a matter of course...

are they not gas shocks then? or has oil damping still

koni are £450 -£500 with or without springs, eibachs are £120 or so. vMaxx are about £400 I think and come with springs obviously.

Apex aren't great, Eibach springs much better. As for shocks, Koni adjustables. Although you can get vmaxx coilovers for less.

nope, 4 x108mm v's 4 x100mm and the centre bore is too big and the offset is way out.
