Well the tailgate solenoid is but the doors I'm not so sure, tailgate solenoid same as AX, BX, Xantia, XM, 106, 405, 406, 806!
If it was a Valeo part I could pick it up from anywhere but being a Pug part I'll be looking for 2nd hand ones from someone breaking a 205 might even try a breakers...
Trying to source central locking solenoids for the doors as they're knackered but autofive quoted £110 + postage!!! Apparently the passenger door slave solenoid is cheap (£20) but the drivers side master solenoid is a genuine Pug part and £90.
DOH!
It contains salt, we had a customer blaming us for ruining his new motorcycle after using our corrosion protector.
With a bit of enquiring he admitted he used Fairy Liquid to clean his bike including the bare aluminium swingarm... then when we prompted him to pursue Proctor and Gamble he was...
Wee update, popped into the bodyshop today to see it. Tailgate is on with new lock fitted, drivers door also swapped over - central locking is giving them problems (rather them than me!)
The tailgate and door need a paint clean, polish and wax and then I think the colour match will be pretty...
its practical, fun, plenty quick enough and pretty economical - it is a grown up car! lol
I bought my 182 when I was 22 and bought my 172 at 27 (and got a flat in between!), no plans to change. If I change it won't be for something grown up it'll be for something RWD!
They replaced seats and airbags in Big Iain's out of warranty 172, otherwise it was a right off! They clearly take vehicle safety seriously.
They also replaced my load level headlight adjuster in my 182 FOC after I drove over a plastic bottle at 100mph lol

as an alternative, koni's we all want them but don't want to pay top whack, if I can get a few names in the above we could ask for a price.
yeah probably right, might check spring diameters to be sure to be sure.
If it's a progressive spring of similar diameter, length, number of turns and cross sectional diameter then it's the same.
this is the question, I want a set cheap to test TBH and can let people know. Also would like to know if my sportlines will fit on them.
They haven't called me back yet but I will pursue it.
I don't know at the mo if they do them for cup'd 182's I will ask.
Cheers.
parking is included in the ticket price and on site, they stopped making you park at the bottom of the hill and getting a bus up because they had to pay too much for police and buses.
This was confirmed at the Superbikes a month or 2 back.
