The suction pumps work fine on f4r. Actually gets more oil out than removing sump plug.

No idea how it receives the code, following Get can clip on it and see what the key is doing, might be de immobilised ecu.

If dephaser was new 300 miles ago, i wouldnt bother changing it. Id do cambelt kit and aux kit, water pump if not done before.

The metal ball sockets dont click on. The clip retains them.

Pms exhaust is a massive improvement. Ive had an oh s**t moment on slicks at Blyton, grip grip grip then 4 wheel drift/sideways. Kept boot in as loads of run off but yeah wouldnt want to be doing that at cadwell!

I have seen at least 3 in my local renaultsport specialist garage with dropped valves. No idea on cause but it does happen.

Heard of loads of 197 valves dropping, no stronger than normal. Stick a set of supertech in or similar aftermarket valves if you want a better setup.

As @hopgop1 said above valeo fogs are identical to oem and a more reasonable price.

I think he will struggle without clip or a renault based diagnostic to code them out. Codes will be stored with clip, should be easy to see if looking at trigger line resistances if you have access. Wont cost too much at AW Motorworks.

Is it binding on the downpipe flange? Looks to be witness marks on the edge of the penny.

Cup rears work fine on lower spec, plug and play. I run them on my dci with sachs shocks up front and eibach sportline springs.

Oe shocks are fine go with them or good branded aftermarket

Yeah them tyres wont be helping. I reckon your rear shocks will be toast. Mine was terrible when the rear shocks were worn out.

Needs config looking at and changing to suit and checking no crash data stored. Dci extreme is pov spec so probably something to do with seats or similar at a guess. Easy fix with clip. What area are you in.

Was watching one ages ago at around a ton but couldnt justify spending that much but at £40 cant moan, my spark plug socket is about knacked so was a no brainer. I only started torquing plugs on these f4r as sick of them coming loose :LOL:

Picked this up the other day, Renault spark plug spanner set Ele.1382. Its pretty decent, made by Werkzeug. Set breakoff torque of 17.5nm on the red one and 28nm on the grey one with long plug sockets to fit the f4r etc. €676 new apparantly, I paid £40 for it off ebay.

Id bet its the upc in the engine bay.

Wouldnt class them as a track tyre just a summer tyre. I dont rate them personally

Had a few renewals come through for mine from Greenlight Kangoo - £350 (£50 up) Blue 225 £350 (£50 up Trophy £350 - same as last year. Not a massive increase. I reckon my clio dci's will see an increase as with elephant, policy is up in July.

Looks decent. Ns2r are pretty awful in wet conditions. Id change them for daily.

Should handle loads better than the van, the wheelbase is fine no need for spacers. Crap tyres will be the understeer issues, get some michelins on. If the back end feels a bit nervous at speed on the twisties the rear shocks will prob need replacing, id prob renew them and id bet your handling...

Jack looks decent. Might get one myself to save lugging my heavy 3 ton one about all the time.
