My 182 hit 65 on the clocks and my new 172 hits about 60/62 - not gospel I know but...
I would only buy a car that I knew some history on, so many friday afternoon cars around. Worth buying from someone on here where you can search the history easily IMO
cup suspension pack has anthracite wheels as opposed to silver. cup spoiler pack has 172 cup style spoiler and a front...
it is a buyers market though, you'll see 05 182s going through auctions for under £5K. 04 182s going privately for £4.5-5.5k easy.
I sold my 182 for £6750 with FRSH pretty damn tidy 40k miles - in late 2007!
I got a lot of 172 for not a lot over £3k yesterday
I had a 2004 182 from new with no cup packs (dealer delivery times led to me taking what was on the forecourt) for 3.5 years and about 40k miles mainly a and b road. It didnt slow me down at all. still has the benefits of wider track, longer wheelbase different gear ratios etc over a phase 2...
Yeah it pulls well, I'm happy with it its well run in.
I didn't boot it for 3 reasons last night:
1. It was -1c and snowing
2. Its been about 14 months since I had power steering
3. You'd feel obliged to drive fast in the cold wet in your first RWD
:rasp:
Nah it's from Lennoxtown bout 15 miles north of glasgow. Supplies all the supermarkets someone on here works for them Daviebroon perhaps can't remember!
Cheers, aye its a nice change from the GTI. Still prefer the GTi in the snow though lol
It'll be hitting 55k soon, quite happy with it drives well and everything works so far lol
Well my motorcycle test was cancelled today due to about 3-4" inches of snow since yesterday afternoon.
So I made the most of the snow and got some pics of the new to me 172 which I picked up yesterday from AJR Motorsport in H-Burgh
In retrospect some of the roads I drove up for pictures...
