I love the rawness of my gti's but in something with the ease of pace of a 172 / 182 I'd rather have the drivers aids there for backup when I run out of skill. Found them to be very unobtrusive in my 182 and never slowed me down but I like to drive pretty smoothly and am light on the brakes.
They're doing a group buy just now. I'd far rather take my car to someone who knows what they're doing and will tune it on the RR than playing trial and error with my ECU myself.
RWD's can't do winter very well. Mercs and BM's abandoned all around my flat car park, I was wheel spinning the pug at 20mph in 4th and decided to drift round the car park twice for my own amusement. Lack of power steering abs traction control etc FTFW
Cheers Danny, you weren't gonna budge so had to look elsewhere lol
54k on it, but it pulls really well - well run in I'd say. Quite urgent in 2nd and 3rd like I remember from the 182.
It's not immaculate but give me time... ;)
Cheers, I did a 3 day roadtrip in the 182 before it went so that's prob what you remember!
Aye I'll get my plate onto it asap and get on some meets and road trips and get some pics from around the Highlands.
very nice, dunno if I'd fit them comfortably though tall and reasonably broad shouldered. Do they sit lower down than the original seats? My pet hate with RS clios is the seat height.
