No cam sensor on 182.
With it being mapped for e85 its hard to say whats at fault, might need more enrichment on startup. We dont have e85 on the pump in the uk.
Updates.
Chris @ efi sent a revised map over yesterday with some N75 duty removed so flashed it on today with MPPS.
Took it out for a datalog and its better but still needs a bit more n75 duty removing between 4-5500rpm.
Can be seen on the logs below where it is closing the throttle to reign...
Delete any codes before inspection. Seems a bit excessive if they scan the obd looking for faults if eml is not on. Every renault ive scanned, has faults lingering around in the background.
Good to catch up @Mr Underhill welcome to pop down any time.
Your RB looked mint too. One of the best mk2 clios ive seen in a long time! The pole positions are a great choice, i want a set after sitting in yours earlier.
I use gunsons easi bleed too. I got my mrs to help bleed up the trophy clutch as was struggling to get a pedal. Had her pumping the clutch pedal, and pressure started coming up. Id failed to check the install and previous owner had not clipped the pipe in properly so she got a foot covered in...
Snap on will prob be able to activate abs block.
I must have been lucky and my trophy bled up from fully dry with just the pressure bleeder without activating abs via clip.
On my kangoo i had a hell of a job bleeding it up from dry pedal was long and soft. I ended up putting 4ltrs of fluid...
Cheers mate! I Just want to see what a stock one is like. Wont rag it as im not that kind of test pilot these days.
Your welcome to passenger ride in mine. Itll be taxed and back out next month..been dragging my heels a bit due to dieting and low energy levels😆
Updates
Kangoo has been behaving itself and holding all its fluids. Still needs the map tweaking.
The back always looked a little bit plain so done a thing;)
Was suprisingly easy to fit with a squeegee and soapy water spray, took 1:30 to do. Had to mark out and chop where badges land, as i...
Genuine splitter still available here if you need one. https://shop.renaultsport.com/RSperformance/lame-avant-ragnotti-clio-ii-r-s.html
I ordered one as a spare for my trophy, as they are very brittle.
Looks good. Prob has got 20k in it as they can be right money pits.
Try and find out how many miles the forged engine has done. The lifespan is a fair bit less than a stock lump.
Map sensor vac readings on idle are usually off if cam timing is out. Id personally get the timing checked by a specialist or somebody who knows what they are doing with an f4r. Looking at the map readings above they are quite high, im sure mine was around 400mbar on idle.
Resale value in the future is worth considering. Non sport converted will be worth less than a genuine sport. All depends what you want it for i guess.
Updates.
Heater matrix arrived. Changed it on Sat morning, 45 mins to do was almost a pleasure compared to every other one ive done on other cars, just glovebox to remove and withdraw from the side no need to remove full dash.
Leak was easy to spot.
Also changed the oil to water modine sandwich...
As above filter is internal in fuel pump sender on uk spec, no separate filter and you cannot change the filter fitted to sender. Fuel pump/sender unit is 70k service interval iirc.
No need to lock ecu when reconfiguring.
The clone clip are a bit sketchy on clio2 when reconfiguring airbags. I done one a while back and more and more faults kept appearing with each change. Restarted the clip software and it sorted itself out.
I had one of these following me briefly on the a1m last year when i was driving the trophy. Look mega, i actually thought it was for one of the race series.
