    clutch

K-Tec are in the New Forest, and Ren-o-tec (or something like that) are in Portsmouth IIRC. Any mechanic should be fairly confident in diagnosing the problem !

Haven't got a clue lol ! Try the for sale section on here, CliodCi.net, ClioSpares or whatever they're called now, or maybe eBay. Personally I wouldn't bother. If you want a fast vehicle, buy one !

Clio van ? It's just a Clio with no rear windows or seats. Nothing special on the suspension/brakes side of things. Do some wandering around this site and see if anything takes your fancy ! Plenty of info to be had. Search button will no doubt be recommended at some point soon ;)

    First photos with new camera

Stand closer FFS ! :rasp: I'm FAR from a decent 'car' photographer, but it seems to take up about 98% of my Flickr space so might be somewhere to start. I've helped a couple of guys out on here recently... Have a casual flick(r) through my 'car collection' on here if you want some...

Break or hold out for a sale?

Where else is it apart from CS ? I'm hoping it's on AT and PH at least, as most people on here own/used to own a Clio already... eBay classifieds are a good shout. Even Gumtree if you can bring yourself to do it.

Re: Harphamominom's Ph1 Project T1Rs are alright on the Clio as it's a light car, but wouldn't be my first choice. Next challenge... an amusing otter sticker. Go. :coffee:

TV without access to an Aerial?

Why not just get a blu-ray player (or a PS3 if you haven't already as it does everything). £50-100 = DVD, BR, .avi, internet TV. Job done.
  24. TheEvilGiraffe

TV without access to an Aerial?

Newer TVs have a USB port... mine does, .avi's and .mkv's play off that. Also got a Sony Blu-Ray player, which plays the above through USB too, and has YouTube, iPlayer etc on it. Cheaper option than a new 'smart' TV.

    Brake Pedal Feel

Press harder :rasp: Bleed them, fresh fluid if you're bothered and/or have done 30k of hard driving since they were last changed. Over assistance. Stupid modern cars !!!
  26. TheEvilGiraffe

    Delay getting my Clio

They sound like muppets. It's hardly an F40. There is probably another 5 for sale within 20 mins of your house ! However, if you end up buying it, and something else goes wrong, don't come crying to us... CS never forgets ;)
  27. TheEvilGiraffe

    is it possible...

Most modern cars are far too over assisted. What do you mean by 'jump' ?! What tyres are on your car. They are the key to braking, as they provide the traction on the road surface...

Safeguarded my car!! :) few pics off its last proper wash before the winter

What is this stuff ? I've seen it sold to gullible folk.. one of my friends has it on his 3 year old car, and is therefore adamant it doesn't need cleaning properly (i.e.: detailing) as this magical Jedi coating repels dirt. (insert facepalm here) I'm assuming it's a sealant coat which lasts...
