Im assuming these will fit mine?

[PCD 4/100 -thread 60,1 mm] Sounds right for a mk2 Clio ! What on earth are you putting on that needs 40mm !? :rasp:

    I bought a DAS 6 kit :)

You're welcome to borrow mine as long as you promise not to drown it in vomit !

    172 looking for ideas....

Just tidy it up a bit ? Like Angryface said, lose the backbox - Stealth FTW ! Full stainless system will last longer than a backbox alone. The rest (assuming it's original) is made of cheese. Cup spoiler if you can find one. For me, I'd paint the front grills black as the plastic has...

my z4 now on PH - again

Someone will buy it - at the right price. January, post Xmas, longest time of the year since the last payday (most people are idiots who can't make their money stretch), it's cold and wet.. I wouldn't be looking to buy a drop top petrol drinking monster right now. Take a hit on the price and...

    Computer wont shut off

Hibernate + windows usually seems to lead to failure to hibernate. Don't know why it's still an option. Can you change it to 'sleep' when the lid shuts instead ? FLOL Si - Teh Internetz never forget.

    Classic CS meet pictures

My first meet at Westerham (Grasshopper) circa Nov 2008: Also took this which I love: The cross dresser's bus by evil_giraffes_rule, on Flickr .. after this last year in Sahfend at The Big Meet:

    A/C myth or true ?

Possibly, as there's another item for the engine to run off the belts (compressor). A/C is a de-humidifyer... very useful in winter !

    A/C myth or true ?

It does warm too you know ;) I use it all year round. Why would you not ?

    A/C myth or true ?

It dries the seals out if you don't use it... Why do you not use it in the winter ?!

my z4 now on PH - again

RE: The plate - get it on retention now. No point waiting, someone might come along with a bag of cash tomorrow but if you got to wait a fortnight to get the plates changed over and they walk away, you're stuffed.

car feels 'loose' and twitchy after full alignment

Suspension set up is a very personal thing. Also small changes in geo can amount to huge changes in feeling. How is the ride height front>rear ? How hard are the corners set (presuming adjustable damping?)... I found even 2 or 3 clicks stiffer on the rear of my old ph1 would have a huge...

car feels 'loose' and twitchy after full alignment

Far too much in the rear ! 31/29 or 33/31 .. something like that ... RTFM ;)

    Miles Remaining Display

Doesn't matter what the display says. When the red light comes on, you're low on fuel. Because the display said so, doesn't mean a gallon of fuel fell out the tank over night... /justsayin'

15" to 16" wheels - drop in mpg??

Sat nav isn't massivly accurate as it doesnt compensate for hills... if your rolling circumference is only 2-3% different it will do just fine off the speedo. Go for a drive, reset both and see how close they are ! Brand new tyres are larger than a set on the wear bars... it's all swings and...

Jacking the Car using the Rear Beam

I always used the rear beam. Big fapping strong bit of metal ! Just use some (I won't call it common as it isn't...) sense and you'll be fine ;) Remember to put it in gear if you're only jacking the back up !

15" to 16" wheels - drop in mpg??

    Each corner !!! Good grief. 6x6 = 36 x4 = a lot more mass to rotate !!

Some Shots of the Vee (Minor Facelift)

Nice touches ! I like all your ideas (apart from the brakes, unless they are actually 'branded', I can't remember) and the wheels. Stick with the (guessing) 17s.. smaller is better ! ;)
