Rotating mass has an equivalent of about 5-6x that of non-rotating mass.
If they're 3kg heavier per corner, you're looking at upto 70kg "additional mass" to accelerate. More mass to accelerate = more fuel used.
Not sure on the complexities of larger rolling circumference. I'd have thought...

I'd up your f number BTW ;) Higher f = tighter trails. Will obviously need to compensate with a longer exposure though.

Try a longer exposure ;) Practice makes perfect. My first ones were wobbly and over/under exposed and just generally awful.
I'm quite a dab hand with the long ones these days :o

1. Moderate > good tyres (no ditch finders, bald or 10 yr old premium rubber).
2. Correct tyre pressures.
3. Geometry.
4. Driving lessons.
Looks daft IMO. It's meant to be there... leave it be.
I barely used the rear one on my Clio but the screen ends up HANGING in winter or generally when there's a week in the month in the UK thanks to the weather. Inherrent aero fail thanks to the hatchback design.
What's broken ...
Penetrating fluid the night before (and maybe the night before that too;) ). Apply liberally, and if you can, find the bolts on the underside and apply liberally there too !
