15" to 16" wheels - drop in mpg??

Rotating mass has an equivalent of about 5-6x that of non-rotating mass. If they're 3kg heavier per corner, you're looking at upto 70kg "additional mass" to accelerate. More mass to accelerate = more fuel used. Not sure on the complexities of larger rolling circumference. I'd have thought...

Have a look through, steal some exif data for yourself and try again. http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=light%20trails (some of yours are on the front page!) I'd up your f number BTW ;) Higher f = tighter trails. Will obviously need to compensate with a longer exposure though. Just practise...

The "Ive taken a pic and I kinda like it" thread

Try a longer exposure ;) Practice makes perfect. My first ones were wobbly and over/under exposed and just generally awful. I'm quite a dab hand with the long ones these days :o Read harder :rasp: it'll be fine, look at the link ! Clear as a bell until 9am with a 1% 20k ft coverage of...

    Rota Wheels...

I have a set on my Scoob. I had no idea they are apparently copies of some set of wheels I've never heard of until I've come on here... they were and still are to me, a set of wheels which are smaller and lighter than the god-awful piece of crap wrecked 18s I sold on. After selling/buying, I...

Welcome to the Internet dude. Does your car actually understeer ? Tragic hedge-magnet style the whole time or just when 'pushing on' ?

    A CURE FOR UNDERSTEER?

If the first thing is perfect / as good as can be, move on: Checklist: 1. Moderate > good tyres (no ditch finders, bald or 10 yr old premium rubber). 2. Correct tyre pressures. 3. Geometry. 4. Driving lessons.

    Should I De-Wiper ?

Looks daft IMO. It's meant to be there... leave it be. I barely used the rear one on my Clio but the screen ends up HANGING in winter or generally when there's a week in the month in the UK thanks to the weather. Inherrent aero fail thanks to the hatchback design. What's broken ...
