Every time someone posts an engine conversion thread, asking stupid questions, I sigh and suggest buying an interesting car in the first place, instead of making something you can already buy 'off the shelf'.
This however, is the whole point of an engine conversion to me ! Doing something...
Bought mine because I could. They've been great so far in the cold mornings/evenings on my commute. Done about 500 miles so far, and the injection moulding nipples are jsut about worn out.
I've got somewhere to store a set of wheels, and I had a spare set, so I flogged the old tyres, and...
Amazon - tripods.
I bought my HamaStar 13 or 69 or something like that.. it was bought purely on price. Circa £12. Holds my 7D+silly lens (~1.5kg IIRC) quite happily ! I've never extended it to full height as I wouldn't put anything on like that, but I can't see a reason to have £2k of...
Re: Girl's reaction's to your Clio sports?
Most girls had no idea what either of mine were about.
Current OH used to have a 182 so she's more than aware what the score is.
My Fuji bridge produced some very nice shots. (OK, once I'd got the grips of my 450D I was taking better shots than the below but still...)
IMO it's the person taking the shots that makes the photo. Cheaper cameras don't get the clarity in the skys etc, as they try to do everything...
I would hope nothing at all once it's cleaned properly.. but sensors are sensitive things, and I believe have coatings on them. Hopefully it'll be ok, but if it's damaged, it's not THE most expensive thing in the world to replace (or is that the mirror?).
Someone who knows what they are...
Whuuuuuuuuups...!!!
Cheap Vodka as a solvent, maaaaaaybe... but not on a camera, especially not on the sensor. Good grief.
Looks like your Dad owes you a camera. There's a 50D body on the board at work for £450... shall I get you the phone number ? :rasp:
You'll be fine I'm sure. My bus is supposed to have 50s but I went to 55. Assuming it's standard (i.e.: not decked) it'll be ok. If it's not ok, blame McBurger Arms.
Minge ? LMFAO ! I can't be arsed right now, I'll do it at some point, probably. Hasn't stopped me doing anything I normally do yet anyway !
I got about 10 posts in and it still didn't say what it was for. There's a Clio in his pic and no note of his car... so I clearly assumed it was a...
No way the 55's will fit on your Clio. They just about fit on my scoob !
Black circles have Kumho KU31s for £60 a corner delivered or £73 fitted.
http://www.blackcircles.com/order/tyres/search have a look...
Defo not on the lens (either end) ?!
When you change lenses, try and do it quickly and cleanly, and ideally have the body facing the floor so no dust can easily fall in.. also make sure your lenses are clean and dust free, obviously !
Sounds like a signal issue. If the channel you're recording isn't tuned in correctly, or happens to be fuzzy on that day, it'll record the fuzzy picture..
Try it on a few more things and see how you get on. If it's still naff, obviously, take it back...
Clear the garage and stick it in there. Not much else you can do... simple condensation I guess. Dan's old Ph1 used to do it and only the rear end was stripped...! Was bloody annoying. Sod having nothing in there...!!
Get a stainless custom exhaust on it.. friend had his done at Powerspeed in Ashford a couple of years back.
Sounds AMAZING !!! I love driving it. He's only in Swanscombe if you wanna hear it !

Bask in smugness.
I thought you'd downgraded for a moment, then realised the bananamobile was Brians !
Did the shipping cost much, Brian ? There's no way you actually drove it out of the CM postcode region...!!
Change all the relays under the bonnet. Immob, fuel pump and something else IIRC. Three of them.

Looks amazing when properly clean and in the sun, like a lot of Renault's paints.
Black gold looks fantastic in the sun.
LY, well... no more needs said.
RB.. nice.
Monahoe, looks ace !
Good grief. Patience !!
RTFM or Google it.
Car bulb websites normally have a 'help' section - whack your reg. plate or car make/model in and they will tell you...
If you're already considering putting a sub in, I would say just replace the HU with a nice high-end Alpine unit and ensure it has HPF/LPF. I did this in my old Clio and once the standard door speakers are not doing the bottom end frequencies, they go bloody loud without distorting or amping.
