btw, the only difference on 65 to 80 turbo is waste get pre load setting. the turbines are both the same size.
good thing is, the nissan micra dci 105 or what ever it is, comp wheel and charge housing can be retro fitted to a dci 80 turbo to make a hybrid :)
main air temp sensor in on the air intake to turbo ( on the flange on the airbox air exit to said pipe ) secondary is boost pipe back to egr assembly.
it'll work fine anyway. those two sensors are pritty much pointless.
I think you can run without the secondry air temp sensor in the boost pipe. The first one needs to be in ( airbox air temp ).
Injectors wise , 65/80 will both work. Only the nozzle is slight better on the 80 setup. Seems as part number keep changing I haven't a clue what's useable. Refurbed...
bolts to the same manifold, but exhaust turbine housing exit is differnt. far easier to make a decatt pipe for.
i ran one for a while til i had a oil pump failure. was good on a homebrew map
Lol at the wiring , mine looks like I'm half way stripping it down with no wiring loom needed.
Box is is mighty close to that boot, get a smaller boot ? Just incase it catches. You don't want s**t getting in there and having a nightmare changing the rack after it's all fitted ;)
uch getting...
Without running a V6 body kit it won't work ;)
engine mostly take all the room up and the gearbox will be half in the wheel arch.
Plus the height of means it'll be sat on the sump on the floor to even close the bonnet. Looked piss funny when I tried hoisting one in
for the life of me, cannot figure out how to make my mk1's speedo work with an electronic speed pickup off a gearbox.
im fitting a 1.9dti engine which will eventually run allot of torque. so my thinking is the mechanical speedo drive boxes ( cup/ph1/mk1's ) isnt going to last long.
currently...
be rate mate :). go forth and concur (sp ) !
only took me 2 years to sort out little issues :o but the end result is a car i actually want to keep.
to say the work that gone into this is incredible. as for everyone offering help, cant get much more forum family like than that!
i would...
park it up, take a break and come back to it mate! no point in getting stressed with it. :)
i've learnt my lesson with my dci over the past year or so... many a times ive felt like smashing it into a million pieces.
what radiator you running now?
Little update , got my landy 300tdi pump ready for it to have the head changed ( clearance issues with bonnet ) for a vw low profile version.
Comes with a 11mm head already , so that's going off to be sorted , already had a rebuild by carwoods diesels specialists, lucky no advanced roller...
LOL! :D
another thing ive noticed ... its been a long time since ive driven a sport but jesus, the steerings heavy compared to my dci electric steering.
exhaust sounds nice to , slightly deafening putting it in the spray booth XD
