Rather odd one but it's definalty not brakes related , still would advice getting a pad fitting kit as I don't like how that rear right springs sit on the pad unlike the passenger side.

if its helped my astra's box last with the strain its under and stopped thr second gear crunch... id say its worthy of a 172 box
as for the rear speakers, put some sound sheeting on the inner rear quarter aswell

bring the f**king kennel down here and i'll sort it. those wires are getting done properly aswell before you kill another set of speakers.
Correct , they'll sit in to far if you try put them back in. A good bodyshop doing it for a decent price that won't take the windows out will most likely use the painters tap that has a hard plastic edge. That will fold the outer rubber seal out enough to paint behind and not create an edge
