On the same theme .. how do people do their star trails ?! I always just leave the shutter open for 10-40 minutes, depending on boredom etc... but I've read recently this can cause the shutter to overheat. The Nikons I believe have a digital 'motor drive' where you can set it up for x...

Why would you take it to a garage for that........ Did they take the inlet off or just the TB ? Take it all off and make sure they have re-seated it properly. The ICV should be very near to the TB one would imagine...

Not a bad idea. I enjoy driving the uvver arf's dCi100. Turbotastic midrange torque which you will need after driving your boostbarge. My 172 felt soooooooo gutless after my Scoob. I think it's down to the trim level as to what equipment you get. dynamique or d+ is the top of the range IIRC...
