i would say so. i didnt play much attention to it, i just ripped it off whilst i was doing the egr blank. dont forget you now have a VNT turbo. i thought the meggy had a leak but its just the vnt noise. little smoke is probs all the s**t built up over the years from the egr/ turbo/cat. good...

its open/closed til the vac builds up, then the little diaphragm thing adjusts the angle of the flap. i actaully dont know properly what its ment to do. other than i think its like swirl flaps in a BMW derv engine. all smooth running buls**t.

alex, show us a top pic of the injectors and fuel pump. im going to go look what ones retro fitt from teh BMW :)

it wont need one lol. its going into something special so custom made boost pipes ;)

s**ty throttle flap thing. controlled by vac solenoid. MENT to smooth out the engines air velocity..... ( dont know the exact thing it does or its name but i know its not needed lol ) ive took the one off the megane courtesy car at work. also that engine looks like evey other 1.9.... covered...

its bolts to the turbo and then the exhaust bolts to the cat. looks it mate, new .... you'd be looking at 500notes lol.

its siemens by the look of it :(. if it was bosch, you'd have endless pumps fit. decat just makes more turbo whistle at low revs but opens up the engine a treat. that and a remap would make it allot more torque'y

you'd get 106 hp out of it from a remap now and a decat. but you'd be on the limmits of the injectors and pump. if its as easy as i think it is, you might be able to fit a BMW R50/70 pump and have a hybrid injector set. should easy get you to 120 and above ! 106 pumps and injectors arnt going...

depends what you want out of it? bosch fuel system on yours ?
