Manual exhaust is £50, Auto is £130 on t'Bay.
I don't know whats wrong with it .. colleague is a little slack in the getting stuff done department. It might have a pin prick, or it might be missing the majority of the tube.

OK we've established that the auto has a flexi bit in the middle for some reason... any ideas why it needs that, but the manual doesn't ?
Auto's exhausts are silly money compared to the manual ones.

Colleague is having trouble finding information about the correct exhaust for a 1997 mk1 1.4 automatic RT Clio.
Apparently the exhaust is different to the manual version !?
Any ideas guys ?

How low have you got them ? The lower they are, the less absorbing they're going to do of the road's finest feature. Do they have adjustable damping ?!
