Nice .. when are you having the op ? :rasp:
Don't be a sheep... Exhaust: http://www.powerspeed.co.uk/ Done my Dad's 7 and a friend's Mini Cooper S which sounds utterly fantastic ! Pops bangs gurgles growls and screams. Mint !
The shutter isn't a consumable. They're normally good for welllllllll over 30k. Unless you're a snap happy shutterbug, you wont get near that in the time you have it. Do some homework online .. you'll see they generally last a LOT longer than that.
My 7d won't offer a complete novice...
:dapprove:
Always expect the unexpected....!
Third and fourth drivers failed to stop in time. Shimpulz...
As long as everyone's ok .. then put it down to experience !
Gally - I got a £15 Hama Star 12 (or something like that) tripod from Amazon. It's not the best, but it does the job ! Extends to be taller than me and has given me some epic shots in the past. Can't imagine it'll be amazing in high wind but there's a hook to hang more mass on if needed.
Probably another memory card (nice expensive CF cards on the 7d :dead:) or a second battery.
Got a tripod, filters and a flash already !
Remote is always good.. RC-2 (IIRC) about £15 on Amazon.
Shame you're a million miles away.
Sub gain on zero. Boost low .. put freq to ~200.
Head unit - turn sub off ! Find HPF/LPF - set HPF to 200Hz. You should get no low end from the speakers...
Head unit - sub back on ! Knock the HU sub level up a few points. You should get some rumble...
Never heard of that website. My experience buying various things online - do homework ! Find review sites .. google the websites name for reviews. Make sure there aren't too many unhappy customers.
Good luck ;)
There's no pre-set settings in photography.
Drag the photo to your desktop, right click > info (or whatever you have to do to get to the exif if you're unfortunate enough to be using Windows.) That will show you the settings used on that particular photo.
As I've said many a time before...
Nattys Paste Blue Wax stuff is pretty epic for the price. Smells excellent too. Don't worry about colours.
R222 is pretty good too .. bit more expensive but rather nice.
Make sure you've prepared the surface properly .. otherwise not really worth it for looks and also you might be waxing in...
Did the engine somehow run in reverse ?! Even if it dropped a few valves at once, the chances of anything being sent up the inlet has got to be minimal.
Am I the only one thinking this is like the mysterious "crud" which gets "sucked up" from the bottom of the petrol tank ? :S
If there was...
Unless you really want one this weekend... Keep an eye out. There'll be more along in the next couple of weeks.
I'd want the 18-55 IS lens, not the DC one personally.

I spent ~£400 on my 450d back in the day.
~£2.5k later I've got a 7d, USM kit lens, 10-20, 50mm f1.8, 70-300, speedlite, 2 bags, tripod and a partridge in a pear tree.
Good luck !!!!!!
I'd recommend (as ever!) 450d from canon's ebay outlet or on here or talk photography...
Whatever you get, you'll want to upgrade. I managed 18 months with my 450 before I went to the 7 and I don't think I'll go up from there for quite some time / ever.
Short and sweet write up there.. never mind ;) 42mpg ? Poor effort given 700 of those were at motorway speed (not autobahn speed :nono:)
Car looks good with the silly wheels on.
If you've got tyres, and wheels, go see t'woman's Dad. T'woman will probably do it for you herself !
Still think the 450D is one of the best "beginners" cameras. Add a 55-250 IS into the mix and she'll be laughing. Should be comfortably under budget ..
I still partially regret upgrading to my 7D. Canon_UK ebay outlet... job done.
Friends bought the 500D after mine, and I wasn't overly...
